Ryan Moore is today eyeing a double for his first class ride on filly Minding when they run in the Nassau Stakes at 3.10 today. Earlier this week he won the Sussex Stakes on The Gurkha, but he has never won the Nassau Stakes, so today he is hoping he can become only the fifth jockey this century to complete this phenomenal  accomplishment.

Minding, is a very special horse and her trainer Aidan O’Brien treats her like a princess, resting her and making sure she travels well, only placing her in races one by one. At the moment Minding is the fifth biggest prize winner this season, so she deserves her favourite spot, although that’s not so good for the punter when the odds are in the bookies favour. There are only five horses in the Nassau Stakes today, with Minding being the favourite with odds of 2/9 with Ladbrokes.

Second favourite is John Gosden’s Swiss Range ridden by Frankie Dettori; this brings in another special rivalry into the race between Moore and Detorri. Out of four races Swiss Range has won twice, so don’t totally rule her out today. Odds on Swiss Range today are 10/1 with William Hill.

Third in the line-up is Saeed bin Suroor’s horse Beautiful Romance, she came fifth on her last outing but out of her last eight races she has won five times, so deserves to be in the top three today. Odds on Beautiful Romance are 16/1 with Bet365.

There are only two other horses in this race so they are worth a mention, Jemayel and Queens Trust. Both have odds of around 20/1 this morning with most bookies including Paddy Power.

This is the last day of Glorious Goodwood and tomorrow is the final day of the Galway Festival, but there is always plenty of racing around the world and today there is plenty. Watch out for Ruby Walsh at Galway, he’s riding Rogue Agent in the first race this afternoon and although the odds aren’t great at 11/10 you shouldn’t lose money. That’s with Coral. Ruby only rides in Ireland now so it’s great to see him still in the saddle.

Good Luck today.
