Liverpool vs Burnley – Saturday 16th September 2017 – 15:00

Liverpool are 2/7 with Daniel Sturridge, Roberto Firmino, Mohammed Salah all at 100/30 to score first.

Liverpool face Burnley at Anfield on Saturday afternoon, in another huge Premier League fixture.

The Reds come into this match on the back of a 2-2 draw against Sevilla, a mixed result for Klopp's men.

The Champions League returned to Anfield for the first time in three seasons, with Sevilla coming to town.

Visitors Sevilla landed the first blow, with an error from Dejan Lovren allowing Wissam Ben Yedder to score (5).

They pulled one back through Roberto Firmino (21), who levelled the scoring just sixteen minutes later.

Liverpool took the lead for the first time in the match, with Mohammed Salah giving them a 2-1 lead (37).

Joaquin Correa made a wasteful Liverpool side pay late on (72), scoring his side's second goal and levelling the scoring.

Reds Defence Problematic

Liverpool have struggled defensively in their last two matches, with Dejan Lovren at fault in the Champions League.

They were unbeaten heading into the City match, but they were hammered 5-0 after losing Mane to a red card.

Klopp's side were also wasteful in front of goal, with 23 shots overall and converting just six on target.

The Reds will be concerned that Sevilla scored two goals with their only two shots on target.

Liverpool Favourites

Jurgen Klopp's side come into this match as favourites, with home advantage informing the bookies.

This will be a tough match for Liverpool, with the Reds historically struggling against the Clarets.

Liverpool will be looking to make it six wins in seven matches against Burnley.

Big Challenge

Burnley come into this match on the back of a 1-0 win against struggling Crystal Palace, a great win for Dyche's side.

Palace defender Lee Chung-Yong made a horrendous mistake, setting up Chris Wood with a poor back pass in just the third minute.

Despite that early setback, Palace were by far the better side, producing 23 shots on target but unable to find a way past.

Scott Dann missed the best chance of the match for Palace, but ultimately they were unable to find their way past Burnley.

Solid Start

Burnley have had an excellent start to the season, they have been one of the early success stories.

They have defeated Champions Chelsea and drawn away against Tottenham, if they had beaten West Brom it would have been the perfect start.

As it stands Dyche will still be delighted, the Palace result was vintage Burnley, with staunch defence and a clinical finish.

A win here will be another excellent scalp for Burnley, they have had experience of beating Liverpool, albeit not at Anfield.

Clarets Underdogs

Sean Dyche's side come into this match as underdogs, no surprise given the Red's quality.

This will be a tough match for Burnley, despite Liverpool enduring a tough week against City and Sevilla.

Burnley will be looking for a 23rd win in 72 matches against the Reds.

Burnley are 9/1 with Chris Wood at 9/1 to open the scoring.
