Manchester City face Crystal Palace at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon, in the sixth round of PL matches.

Pep Guardiola's side come into this match on the back of a 2-1 win against West Brom, continuing their excellent start to their season.

Leroy Sane continued his fine form this season with a goal in either half, with his first goal coming in the 3rd minute.

It took West Brom a further 69 minutes to equalise through Claudio Yacob (72), with a close-range strike to equalise.

Leroy Sane returned five minutes later to score his and City's second goal (77), the winning strike to give City a 2-1 win.

Unbeaten Start

Manchester City have had an unbeaten start to this season, in Palace they face a side who are at the opposite end of the table.

They are joint top of the Premier League, with an identical record to neighbours Manchester United.

City have been in imperious form in their last two matches, completing 6-0 and 5-0 wins against Watford and Liverpool respectively.

They will go top of the Premier League with a win over Crystal Palace, with a big win ensuring their goal difference increases.

City Favourites

Pep Guardiola's side come into this match as favourites, with home advantage informing the bookies.

This will be a match that City will target no less than three points, they will be looking for a big win.

Man City will be looking for a seventh straight win against Crystal Palace.

The Eagles come into this match in poor form, despite securing a much-needed win in the Carabao Cup in midweek.

That was a good result for Roy Hodgson and Palace, although they must take that a step further and produce a league win.

Crystal Palace are rock bottom of the Premier League after five matches, they are also yet to score during that time.

They have a tough challenge both in this game and the next three matches, with both Manchester sides and Chelsea in successive games.

Palace could find themselves with no wins in their first eight matches, having sacked Frank De Boer they have set a dangerous precedent.

Crystal Palace come into this match as the underdogs, with the City's home advantage informing the odds.
