A Fillies Group 2 over one mile and two furlongs has attracted a decent looking field with several in with a good chance.
Crystal Zvezda for Sir Michael Stoute looked like she was going to be a top class horse early on as a three year old but as the season progressed she looked more Listed class and not quite a Group horse.
Koora is an interesting one as she was last seen over 200 days ago winning in soft ground over a mile and a half at Newbury. It is impossible to know how she has progressed over the winter but if this race is made a test of stamina, she is sure to stay.
Roger Varian's Lady Of Dubai contested three Group 1's and a Group 2 last and has a definite chance in this grade. She was fourth last time out at the Curragh and was staying on at the finish so the extra two furlongs here today look likely to suit. The only other time she has tried this distance was in the Yorkshire Oaks where he was outclassed and never in the race. I think she will be kept handy today and not far from the pace by Andrea Atzeni and expect a big run.
Beautiful Romance is a Godolphin horse and has a really good season as a three year old looking a top prospect. She ran in two Group 1 races and finished third in her last outing in the Qipco British Champions Fillies and Mares stakes at Ascot. As long as she has progressed she should be right there today.
The house I really like is Journey for John Gosden. How horses are in wonderful form which was confirmed yesterday with two high profile wins and he can continue that today and give Frankie Dettori another good win. She comfortably had the better of Beautiful Romance as a three year old at Ascot and there's no reason for me to believe that the tables will be turned here today. It will take a very smart filly to have a chance of turning her over and I am extremely confident of a big run.
