Yesterday was another fantastic day of racing; Frankie Dettori is on top form but so is Ryan Moore and today looks like another battle for the jockeys, as they go head to head in the Gold Cup in honour of the Queens 90th Birthday at 4.20 today. Yesterday Moore steered APO’ Brien’s horse Found to victory of A Shin Hikari by a nose, her trainer saying the sharp bend on the course unnerved her. Moore is an experienced jockey on this course and credit where it's due he pushed the accelerator just at the time. Well done Found.

In today’s race Ryan Moore rides the favourite, Order of St George. Another AP O’Brien horse, they make a formidable partnership this season. Order of St George is in excellent form having won his last race, but there are 18 runners today and this course is 6f longer than he’s used to, this may be a factor. The ground is still soft this morning after no rain overnight, but the field is a large one. Odds today for Order of st George are 5/6 with William Hill.

Second favourite is Max Dynamite, trained by Willie Mullins and ridden by Pat Smullen, Mullins just missed out on the trainers championship this year, so he will be hoping Max Dynamite can pull this off today for him. Odds on Max Dynamite are a respectable 8/1 with Ladbrokes.

Also tipped by the bookies is the third placed favourite, Clever Cookie, the Peter Niven trained horse is in good form and he will be hoping his winning trainer form continues today. Clever Cookie is priced at 12/1 with Bet365.

Dettori rides out on Flying Officer for John Gosden and is being tipped partly because he is such excellent form and partly because Flying Officer is such a great horse, could be a winning combination with odds at a good priced 11/1 with bet365, 10/1 with others.

Running but not mentioned is Curbyourenthusiasm, who came second to Clever Cookie at the York festival a couple of weeks ago. There was big talk around him there so don’t just write him off he could pick his game up today.

As ever enjoy todays racing and Good Luck.
