Premier League
It is the final league match of the season tonight and it is only being tonight because of the bomb scare at Old Trafford on Sunday. Fortunately is was a mistake and just a dummy package left over from a training exercise, so things are all OK.
Now that Van Gaal knows there is no chance to qualify for the Champions League by finishing in fourth place, it appears almost certain that he will rest the majority of the players that are going to start in the FA Cup final on Saturday and this will present Bournemouth to finish a brilliant season for them in style. They were one of the favourites for the drop but have been comfortably safe for a while now, and can actually finish as high as 14th with a win tonight.
We can get a best price of 15/4 on a Bournemouth win and I think against a second string Utd team and am confident they will be good enough to get the job done.
16:10 Newcastle
This is a nice looking seven furlong handicap with a few horses who are on the up and look capable of taking it.
Peril is the top weight and likely favourite after winning a similar class race on the all-weather at Wolverhampton. He saw out the seven furlongs nicely that day and if running to his full potential after a break, will be tough to beat.
Mark Johnston has three year old Turbine running from the bottom of the weights given his age allowance. He was third in a better race than this at Ascot last time out and although he was beaten over five lengths, he was over really awkwardly and finished strongly which suggests a clean break this time could put him right into the frame.
The horse I think could have an excellent chance is the Hugo Palmer trained Wall Of Fire. He is another three year old and won a class 2 maiden before attempting a Listed race at Doncaster and finishing fifth of six. He then switched yards from Richard Hannon to Palmer and makes his handicap debut today. I think he has been given a lenient mark of 92 and with his three year old allowance, will be extremely difficult to stop today.

I would. Like a try. So far not in the first three.
