Quiet Reflection is today’s bookies favourite, but in second place is the Richard Fahey trained Donjuan Triumphant, ridden by Silvestre de Sousa and if the ground does become boggy with more rain this could suit this horse better. After yesterday’s success for AP O’Brien and Ryan Moore, they enter today’s race with Washington DC, with no place in the top three or four favourites, the pressure is off, and it wouldn’t surprise me if this winning combination does it again today. Washington DC has a great pedigree and has proved she can go the distance especially under Ryan Moore's guided hand. With odds of 12/1 with Paddy Power this would be an ideal each way bet for me with good returns.
The third favourite is the French horse Cheikeljack, most tipsters are backing her above Quiet Reflection as she has a good staying power in conditions like today.
