This Grade 2 mares' novices' hurdle has attracted a nice field and I think there is a good chance one or two may come out of this race and go on to be top horses.
Actinpieces made the frame in three bumpers without getting her head in front, however since she has been hurdling she has won three on the spin and chases a four times her today. She has looked super impressive so far but this is a big step up in class so she will certainly not have things are her own way like in previous races. There is definite ability there though and if she takes a big step forward again I am sure she has a chance of making the frame.

Jessber's Dream for Harry Fry is the highest rated of the field and has had a couple of second places in Listed company, including last time out when beaten at Warwick by Flute Bowl in what looks a pretty strong race. She raced over a furlong further than today's trip at Warwick and stayed on after being headed, so I am left wondering if she would in fact prefer to be going even further. If so, there's a chance she may get outpaced again today and have too much ground to make up when she does start to stay on.
Tara Flow runs for Venetia Williams and hasn't been out of the first two after six career starts to date, winning four of them. This is a big step up in class for her as well but she seems to relish the heavy going so it would be no surprise to see her battling it out at the business end of proceedings.
Katie Too is one of two runners for Alan King in this race and has had just the four starts to date. She was deemed good enough to run in a Listed bumper on only her second start where she finished a respectable seven of nineteen and she has won both of her hurdles races so far as easily as she liked. This will be a much stiffer test but what I have seen so far I really like and I wouldn't be surprised to see her odds of 33/1 for the Mares' hurdle at Cheltenham to be trimmed after today.
