Germany v Northern Ireland
Group C is still wide open with just a point separating three teams. Germany and Poland have four points and Northern Ireland have three which means there is all to play for in the final group matches.
Germany haven't hit top form at all so far in these Championships and have suffered quite a bit of criticism since their goalless draw with Poland. I expect a backlash tonight with Northern Ireland on the receiving end. The Irish had a brilliant 2-0 over Ukraine which gives them a realistic chance of qualifying for the knock out stages. However to enable them to do that I think they will need at least a point here tonight, and that is too much to ask against the world champions in my opinion.
The Germans are sure to come flying out of the blocks and if they can get the early goal, it will be an incredibly long night for Northern Ireland. I fancy Germany to inflict a bit of a beating on them and can easily see them scoring three or four goals, so will be backing them on the handicap accordingly.
Poland v Ukraine
Poland play the Ukraine knowing that a win would mean they have a chance of topping the group, as if both them and Germany win it will come down to goal difference. The Polish have looked an accomplished team so far and I don't think they will have too much trouble in defeating a Ukrainian team with nothing to play for. Due to this I will also be backing Poland on the handicap at some tasty prices.
