Champions League

Man City travel to the Ukraine to play Dynamo Kiev in the first leg of this second round tie, and it is a notoriously difficult place to get a result. I think City would be happy to come away with a draw, especially if they were able to score in the process and grab an all important away goal.

Pellegrini rested pretty much his whole starting eleven for their FA Cup thrashing by Chelsea on Sunday so they should be well rested. City definitely have the firepower to cause the Kiev defence plenty of problems ad if they can make sure David Silva sees plenty of the ball I am certain they will create plenty of chances for Sergio Aguero.

City have been truly woeful at the back at times this season so they will be hoping that having Vincent Kompany back fit will help to stop the high amount of goals they have been conceding. Attacking midfielder Yarmolenko has been the main dangerman for Kiev this season and has racked up plenty of goals and assists so for this season so it will be crucial that City keep him in check.

I think this has the makings of being a really entertaining match and am confident that City will be good enough to come away with at least a draw. However, the bet I am interested in is both teams to score at a shade odds on. City look like conceding in almost every game they play but with their vast array of attacking options they are almost certainties to get at least one at the other end as well, therefore this looks a value play.

The other match being played tonight is PSV at home to Atlectico Madrid. On the face of it this should prove a relatively straightforward tie for Madrid and I expect them to come away from the Philips Stadion with an away win and one foot in the quarter finals.
