Champions League

Man Utd play PSV Eindhoven at Old Trafford knowing a win will all but ensure a place in the knockout stages and mean they will probably also top their group. This is vitally important as it means they will miss at lot of the real big teams in the next round.

Utd lost to PSV in the opening group in this group and will certainly not have things all their own way. They currently sit second in the Premier League although they haven't looked particularly good recently. Both Phil Jones and Ander Herrera picked up injuries at the weekend and will miss tonight's match and Antony Martial will be assessed after missing the Watford game. Rooney was also out on the weekend through illness but he should be fine to play tonight.

Although it won't be easy I think Utd will have just enough to secure the win here, but I would be surprised if it was by more than the odd goal, therefore PSV plus one on the handicap at 7/4 is tempting.

Man City travel to Turin to play Juventus having already qualified for the knock out stages. However, they are just a point in front of the Italians and need at least a draw to keep finishing top of the group in their own hands. They were torn to pieces at times but Liverpool on Saturday in a pretty humiliating 4-1 defeat in front of their own fans. They will be extremely keen to put that performance behind them put on a show tonight. Sergio Aguero managed to play a little over an hour at the weekend should be much sharper and Otamendi will be certain to come back in as the two centre halves were abysmal. It would be a massive boost if captain Vincent Kompany was also declared fit, but i think this game could potentially come a little too soon for him. Overall, I think Juventus may prove just a bit too strong for City and take a narrow win.

Draytonian was a really good third place in a Class 3 bumper last time out where the second placed horse in that race has run again and finished second in a very good Class 2 hurdles race. This is a step down in class for the Philip Hobbs trained gelding and I expect him to have far too much class for this field today. He liked the cut in the ground last time around here so today's conditions will suit and on level weights it is hard to see anything getting too close and thus providing Richard Johnson with another winner in his quest to finally win the jockey's championship.
