After their automatic promotion aspirations were dashed at the weekend, Hull City who are assured a play off place host Brentford tonight.  At this late stage in the season and the lottery of the play offs to come, Steve Bruce 's Tigers must ensure that stay injury free and as such will name an unchanged side from Saturday's draw with Leeds United.

The Bees have been resurgent of late and are unbeaten in 6 games, so this game is going to be tricky for Hull.

The top of the table couldn't be closer, with Burnley, Middlesbrough and Brighton all level on 87 points and only separated by Burnley's marginally superior goal difference.

Middlesbrough having dropped points at the weekend against a disruptive Ipswich side, travel to Birmingham for a must win game before the climax to their season ends at the Riverside against Brighton! This game if it goes to wire is going to be real heartbreaker for one set of fans (unless of course Burnley are no longer in the running.

On paper, Burnley have the simpler task, home to Queens Park Rangers on Bank Holiday Monday, followed by a final game of the season trip to already relegated Charlton.

Brighton not only face Middlesbrough on the last day but host inform Derby on Monday, again a must win game if they are to keep their automatic promotion chances alive.

I believe the current top two will gain automatic promotion but Chris Hughtons Brighton should take the final place to he cherished land, third place finishers have a good history of gaining promotion from the Championship.
