At 3.45 this afternoon Quiet Reflection will race at Haydock and hope to continue her excellent form of four first places out of five races. The Karl Burke trained filly is not a favourite today and not rated in the top three but out of eight runners over six furlongs with favourable going, good ground she could storm through. Odds are 7/1 with most bookmakers this morning including Ladbrokes and she is favoured by the top tipsters.
With the tough competition I would say each way bet for this horse. Running as favourite in the same race is Gifted Master, the Hugo Palmer trained filly is ridden by Pat Smullen today; she will be tough to beat as she has finished first in the last six out of eight races. Odds today are low as she is highly favoured 15/8 with Paddy Power.
The second favourite is Buratino, who should really make a place if she is on form, but her last race was poor; she came 9th last month at Newmarket. Mark Johnstone will be hoping James Doyle can pull her back to winning ways later today. Odds for Buratino are 9/2 with William Hill.
Not to be ruled out in this race are Ajaya, Donjuan Triumphant and La Rioja, but if Gifted Master and Quiet Reflection are on form the top three should contain them. Odds for these are Ajaya, 11/1 with Bet365, Donjuan Triumphant; 8/1 BetVictor and La Rioja 6/1 with Sporting Bet.

Other racing today; Chester at 3.25 where the running is good in the one mile, five furlongs and eighty nine yards Champions League Final Betting at Betway Handicap, Winterlude the Jennie Candlish trained horse is again a rank outsider to the favourites. With a good price and if in good form has a chance today to make a bit of money as he is a healthy 12/1 with Ladbrokes, so an each way bet should bring good returns today.
Up against the favourite Trendsetter, showing at 8/1 with Skybet this morning, this John Quinn trained horse is in good form but has a variable finishing record so it may not be his day. Mark Johnstone has two horses in this race and Yourkidding is the second favourite today. With odds at 5/1 with Bet365 and again a variable finishing record so I’d look at the form in this race, it could all be down to that in the day and course conditions.
