Premier League

There are two games in the Premier League this evening with Watford entertaining Chelsea and Everton at home to Newcastle. Watford have had an excellent first season in the top flight so far and will be confident of getting a result against a Chelsea side who are four points and four places below them in the table. Ighalo and Deeney have been amongst the goals all season whilst Chelsea's defence has been particularly shaky.

Chelsea have appeared to be a little more confidently recently however since the introduction of interim manager Gus Hiddink, and they are slowly working their way back up the table of a disastrous first half of the season. I think they will have too much for Watford tonight as they are an entirely different proposition when they are playing well and won't be bullied by them. The price of evens about a Chelsea win appears generous and worth taking.

Everton's form has been a bit all over the place this season and it is hard to predict which side will show up. They have been leaking plenty of goals which has cost them a lot of points, especially late on in matches and it is something I am sure Martinez is wanting to cut out. At the other end they have been excellent, with Barkley, Delofeu and Lukaku causing most defences problems. There is a very good possibility of a few goals in this one and I like the bet of Everton to win and both teams to score at 11/5.

Leicester 15:00

Lessons In Milan for Nicky Henderson begins his chasing career here today after just the three runs over hurdles. He hasn't run since March last year at Sandown but I would expect him to be ready for this and he has shaped as if chasing would be right up his street on the starts to date. He won two and was placed in the other of his hurdles races on ground not too dissimilar to todays. An opening mark of 140 appears as if could be on the lenient side and I expect him to be too good for his four rivals.

April Dusk trained by Warren Greatrex looks to have some ability after winning his chase debut over two and a half miles. He was staying on near the finish so the extra distance today is a plus. He has been raised six pounds for that win and would need to produce a top performance to beat the selection in my opinion.
