There is a small field of just five runners for this 2 mile novices' chase, but a few interesting looking runners nonetheless.

Oscar Sunset, trained by Evan Williams, was beaten by the impressive Activial on his latest start and looks a good addition to the chasing ranks. He had a rating of 134 over hurdles so a mark of 138 maybe on the lenient side. He has form on heavy going as well so will be fine with today's conditions.

Baltimore Rock won on his chasing debut in battling fashion and will surely come on for that experience. He was a decent hurdler with a respectable seventh place finish at the Cheltenham festival in March last year. He has won on heavy going before and should give a good account of himself today. He does have a six pound penalty for his win at Doncaster last time out and I think that may prove the difference and stop him winning.

Lockstockandbarrel has made an interesting move from Ireland, from the Willie Mullims yard to Jonjo O'Neill. He hasn't run for almost a year and this is his chasing debut, however he looked a fine prospect whilst with Mullins in February last year. If he takes well to fences he could have huge potential and I am willing to take the chance on that with what appears to be a value looking bet.

Harley Rebel is improving with every run and looks extremely well in here from a mark of 117. As just a four year old he gets a nice weight allowance and only found a decent Dan Skelton horse too good last time out at Kempton. There doesn't appear to be anything that good in this race and I think he is plenty good enough to take this today.
