FA Cup

The FA Cup replay between West Ham and Liverpool takes place tonight after the game at Anfield finished nil nil. Lievrpool were much the better team in the first match and did enough to win the game, however they couldn't finish their chances. They played a very young and changed team in that match and were actually much better than the 'main' were in the corresponding league fixtures.

I think it will again be a changed team for Liverpool from the one that played at the weekend, but they do have Sturridge, Coutinho and Origi back in training now so all could be involved at some point. Liverpool are a completely different team with Coutinho and Sturridge playing together and I think they could prove the difference in this match.

West Ham are rightly favourites being at home, but I think a price of 11/5 on Liverpool is a value bet and higher than I expected it to be. Both teams to score at a shade odds on is another selection that interests me. Liverpool having more firepower than usual means they should have a better chance of finishing the chances they create and West Ham are always dangerous going forward. With the way Liverpool have been conceding extremely soft goals of late, it is hard to see West Ham not scoring, therefore this looks a strong selection.

15:05 Market Rasen

There is a small field for this but four horses all with very nice looking prospects for the future.

Point The Way is on a hat trick after leading all the way in his previous two races at Sedgefield and Catterick. He has to carry four pounds more than his rival here today but Megan Carberry's claim of five pounds negates that and a strong showing is expected.

Sharpasaknife has had just the one race so far but was a very impressive winner at Wetherby and looks to have plenty of potential.

Tanarpino is another looking for a hat trick of wins but has been hit with a hefty rise in the weights which I think will put paid to his chances unless he finds a very big improvement, which as a five year old is possible, but unlikely in my opinion.

Onefitzall all won his bumper by a long way and then was equally impressive winning on his hurdling debut at Uttoxeter by an eased down four lengths. He was then a very disappointing third at Leicester when sent off a 1/2 favourite. That run was too bad for there not to have been something wrong and the break of over two months has hopefully sorted him out. I believe he is still a very fine prospect and expect to see him back to his best today and take care of his three rivals.
