Review . The author of this service is the guy behind the BetInfo24 website which offers free daily tips and other betting advice. Jason has produced other successful systems and so we were interested to see how his latest offering would stand up.
Purchasers will receive a PDF manual which details the system fully and like most other offerings from the author is very simple in concept. His Place Bet Pro system seems to be the foundation for this one which aims to find 3 daily selections that should place and if they win it will be a bonus. Win odds will never be below 6.0 and place 2.0 and so if your selection is good the potential is excellent. It is Jason’s adaptation of each way betting using the benefits of Betfair place markets to ensure a lost runner does not mean a place less paid out on – the theory makes good sense as explained and if only 1 of your 3 daily selections manages a place your bank will not suffer greatly. A total of 4 points is staked on each race selected.
The initial selection process is simple and has no room for doubt on whether the horse qualifies. You apply the process to all meetings on the day and establish a list of possibles from which you make the final selection using form based research techniques which can be adapted to suit your own style – there is good guidance in the manual on how this can be achieved but inevitably there will be variations on final selections as personal choices creep in.
For the purposes of the trial we looked almost exclusively at flat racing (time constraints a factor for us) and made our selections based on prices at around 10am each morning. This time is not sacrosanct but you will need to have sufficient time to undertake the analysis before placing final bets – inevitably the prices will move a little while you undertake this and hence you will see a few place bets at less than the recommended 2.0. We did not substitute other runners when a non runner occurred but a practical day to day user may well be able to do so. Occasionally there were not 3 suitable selections on the day.
The trial saw 74 runners of which 13 won and 41 were placed resulting in a healthy profit of 57 points. Members will see form the spreadsheet that there was a late surge helping profits after a poor mid term run – this is more likely to be my inept final selections than any fault with the system. As can be seen clearly the staking plan means the risks are well controlled and both the win and the place elements are showing a profit. Over all the return on stakes invested is 15.2% which if maintained will be highly creditable – and there seems no reason why the performance should not be maintained with it base in the daily market situation.
So if you have up to half an hour available in the couple of hours before racing starts this system is well worth a look. A reasonable one off purchase price where the performance is then going to be down to your own skills and having potential for good profitability. Recommended.
