now i will give you the results stats from mon3rd of september to date 8 weeks …70 bets 12 winners 19 placed …staked 700 pounds to 10 pound level stakes 700 pounds …PROFIT 285 POUNDS …These stats are to SPS havnt worked out the 8 weeks to DEANS prices yet ..win and placed 44 per cent strike rate …prices higher than DEANS picks ..Dean is underestimating his bigger priced bets it seems …when i work out deans prices we will have well over 50 per cent returns on our investment…

Don’t know why people keep complaining of prices? I generally get the prices quoted. Some under but others over so it equals out in long term..,.
Now then Dean I’m not one for being negative ,but could you inform me . Are your + and – stats based on the SP’s or on the prices you seen to think we can get first thing in the morning. There is obviously a big difference in making a profit on your book and on mine. Cheers.

i read some stats the other day (roger biggs)a 30% punter (which Dean is with his top picks)over 1000 bets (about 20 weeks worth of top picks i reckon) has a 50% chance of a run of losses (no winners)of 17 in a row a 90% chance of 13 and a 99% chance of 11. to make matters worse your run of outs of 11 is likely to occur 6 time over the 1000 bets. I guess that is why most pro tipsters dont tip much else but the favorites (imagine getting some of those runs early on).

Good day yesterday back in front (just) after 3 days(not including my cost for the service) up a little under one point i am struggling to get some of the prices at the moment, it is a bit of a battle, although i have seen plenty of winners at a lot higher (and lower)prices later in the day i guess it is the nature of the exchange. i will have to set up a spread sheet i think to monitor prices at some stage. I have a feeling that there are a few of us on pretty early and that we may be making a difference to the early prices as there is very little volume early in some of the races. I will not be writing much on the forum for the next 18 months (my wife goes on maternity leave tomorrow)but i will be having a look when i can keep us updated on any price trends discovered.

Hi Steve selection process hasnt changed the bigger priced selections just arent going in at the moment and i can totally understand the frustration im pulling my hair out too especially as its the first month of subscription and the rest of the year has gone so well but from the years ive been doing it i know there are bad runs and it will turn around its just frustrating that its happening now. Karl Willis….I must say I admire your optimism …but I am not sure if you are related to Dean or just wish to donate money to him? How could you be “opposed” to a free month I could not stop laughing when i read your post. Its not like we are in month 9 or 10 with healthy profits to fall back on. Its a new pre paid tipping service that has so far performed badly, losing every member money. In order for customers to pay for another month we would need blind faith or a bottomless pit of money. My suggestion was merely to say to Dean how about a little help so early in your venture.

Yesterday those of you who receive the full ratings list might have spotted they were slightly different and out of 10 top picks we would have had gud day 8/1,red tyke 6/1 and osmosia 13/2. Now its only a slight tweak but the way things have gone the past few weeks i didnt think it could do any harm so we will see how it goes. Pretty awful racing today and hamilton looks like it might go aswell so caution advised.

Good morning we should have been in profit on the top picks yesterday but i agonised for ages between majestic moon and bachotheque in the 2-50 and eventually went for the most fancied, had we not been going through a bad run i would almost certainly took a chance on bachotheque but that just seems to be the way its going at the moment,absolutely nothing going our way.

Thx for your comments Dean/Alex but i am certain that in the long run the prices do not even out. That is because the majority of Deans top picks are favs and the ones that do win are obviously well fancied and therefore backed to a shorter price.I agree with you,Alex, that you must take early prices on all selections in order to have a chance of making a profit.

sometimes you will get better some times worse on betfair. I put mine on soon after dean and get very similar do not use starting price unless you want to donate very rarely BOG bookies will have a better price always check on something like odds checker. 5% commission sucks. I now usually get a better price than dean.

After one day my original starting bank of 100 is now 93. I will try to track this and post it nearly every day and will take into account my price and commission if you want we can compare this to Deans results and BF starting price . I think i will exclude sunday for now as they tend to suck

Hi Marc i do try and get the selections on here as early as possible so everyone can get the early prices but also the early prices often drift aswell and it just about evens itself out i know it hasnt been as evident in the past couple of weeks through this bad run but over the time ive been doing this it really does go both ways.

Hi Dean…..Having just joined due to very profitable results being advertised I decided to make checks I probably should of done so before paying.
Please dont take this as someone just being negative. I truly hope you are able to help me make money, thats why I am paying you,and i fully understand bad runs are a fact of gambling.I would just like you to tell me where i am going wrong.
80pts profit in a month seems very good but on closer analysis i realise that these figures are derived from prices shown by you as bets are posted online. This means that with over 30 days of top tips per month you only need to be the wrong side of the price quoted by approx 2.5 points per day to totally negate the monthly profit.
Yesterdays two winners were posted as 12/5 and 0/30 but SP was 9/4 and 11/4 a slight deduction but nevertheless a difference and the 18ths sole winner posted as 4/1 was SP 2/1 and the 17ths winner quoted at 2/1 returned SP 13/8 etc etc So I gather return SP betting results in a loss.If thats the case how do you suggest i proceed?
I presume you must therefore use Betfair which as a rule gives better prices but as the majority of your bets are favourites the edge is very slender even more so when you factor in Betfairs commission(2-5%)
When i look at your two selections per race i notice that on the majority of races you find a winner you have over 50% of the market/price running for you so prices attained here are even more important.
Obviously when running so bad, as you are now,it seems easy to sound negative but as I can only judge results since I joined I would like you to tell me how to progress.

Hi everyone because of the way the results have gone these last couple of weeks i feel i should address any concerns you may have and try to reassure you that this bad run wont last forever,i have been using this system for nearly four years and have always made good profits, of course it does have bad runs you wont find a system that doesn’t but long term this system works and its sods law that we have this kind of run when we start this service but i assure you i am still working 12 hours + a day to get the ratings right and get the selections to you. Its very tempting to try and change the way i do things when its not going well but i know thats not the way forward so i will continue to do it the way i always have and it will come good again soon.

Ive been doing the ratings for nearly four years now i started with a 100 point bank and has never bust in that time and its still the system i use every day. No Jody, the 0.6 is your stake, 0.6 of 1 point, if you bet £10 a point your stake is £6, if you notice both selections always add up to one, hope this helps.

I was confused by this as well at first. Dean first posts his top 2 tips for many races. Having asked him this is what he bets on. He then posts tips from that list… I only joined yesterday. So yesterday he posted 10 tips of which 5 was winners. Today he has posted 12 tips. It’s up to you on how much you stake per bet and if you will bet on all 12 or just a few of them. Yesterday I bet on 9 out of 10 horses and the 1 I didn’t bet on won and missed out on abut 75 quid. Today I have gone with 11 of the 12 selections.

Well thats typical would have been quite a good day i hope some of you managed to get some profit from the ratings. Something you might notice as the days and weeks progress is that when we have a winner(ratings) we quite often get 3 in a row, i would have to go through the stats to give you exact figures but it happens almost every day and is definately worth keeping an eye on.
Steve its just as effective over jumps, only tried the irish once when all of ours were abandon i might try one or two meetings but cant promise it will be a regular thing.

Hi Gary playing stop at a profit is certainly no bad thing and almost gaurantees a profit every day some days you will lose out when we have a really good day but other days like yesterday we were over 5 pts up after 5 races then ended up down for the day so if you have a daily pts total in mind i would definately recomend it.

Hi, thanks for your work. the only thing I am missing is daily summury with points won or lost. This would be very-very useful to compare one’s results with the system’s ones.

Good morning guys a bit of a disapointing start but i wasnt really expecting us to pull up any trees yesterday as the racing was very poor and the ratings threw up a lot of short priced faves which is never a great combination but it looks a little better today.
