Manchester United v Zorya Luhansk – Thursday 29th September 2016 – 20:05 - BT Sport
Manchester United welcome Zorya Luhansk to Old Trafford, in the second round of matches from this season's Europa League group stage games.
United come into this match on the back of a fantastic 4-1 win over Leicester at the weekend.
Four first half goals from Chris Smalling (22), Juan Mata (37), Marcus Rashford (40) and Paul Pogba (42).
Leicester did register a consolation goal through an excellent Demarai Gray effort in the 52nd minute, that was as good as it got for Leicester.
Great Season So Far
It was an excellent performance from United, it was their best goal return in the first half for 10 years.
They will be delighted with the goal from Paul Pogba especially, with the world's most expensive player yet to set the world alight.
The main talking point prior to the match was the omission of Wayne Rooney, with the Manchester United and England captain dropped after poor form.
This change allowed United stars Rashford, Lingard, Mata and Pogba to ably support Ibrahimovic and the result was devastating.
Hard Start For United
Jose Mourinho and his side have endured a tough start, with an opening defeat against Feyenoord in Rotterdam a fortnight ago.
A late goal from Vilhena in the 79th minute was enough to complete a miserable night for United.
This result formed a three-game losing sequence for United, with defeats against Manchester City, Feyenoord and Watford coming within a week.
Manchester United come into the game as overwhelming favorites and will be looking to make it two successive wins.
United are 1/6 with Marcus Rashford at 9/4 to score first.
Zorya Hold Fenerbache
Zorya come into this game on the back of a 1-1 draw against Fenerbache in the opening round of the Europa League.
Grechyshkin's sensational 25-metre strike opened the scoring for Zorya in the 52nd minute, although a late Kjær's deflected drive gives Fenerbahçe 95th-minute equalizer.
The Ukranian side came into the match as underdogs but to hold Fenerbache was an excellent achievement, although the late equalizer will have disappointed them.
It has been a tough start facing Fenerbache and United in their opening two games but their group is packed full of quality.
Great Season So Far
Zorya have started their domestic season in excellent form, with six wins, two draws and one defeat from their opening nine matches.
They come into this match on the back of two successive wins, against Vorskla Poltava 2-1 at home, with goals from Ljubenović (41) and Paulinho (83).
Prior to that they grabbed a late, late winner against Dynamo Kyiv, with an Opanasenko effort in the 93rd minute enough to give them an excellent win away.
Their only defeat of this season came against Dnipro in a 2-0 defeat and they will be confident of causing another upset.
United A Tough Challenge
Zorya will face a tough challenge in the form of Manchester United, they have scored 8 goals at home in three matches.
The draw against Fenerbache will give them great confidence, the knowledge that with more concentration they could have beaten them, will stick with the players.
In a group that contains Manchester United, Feyenoord and Fenerbache they find themselves as underdogs in every game.
This is a tag that could suit them and allow them to spring a few surprises in the group.
Zorya are 16/1 with Oleksandr Karavev at 18/1 to score first.
Hapoel Be'er Sheva vs Southampton – Thursday 29th September 2016 – 18:00 - BT Sport
Hapoel Be'er Sheva welcome Southampton to the Turner Stadium, in the second round of matches from this season's Europa League group stage games.
The Isreali come into this match on the back of a stunning 2-0 win against Inter Milan, arguably the greatest win of their history and away from home.
Second-half goals from Miguel Vítor (54) and Buzaglo (69), were enough to give the unknown Israeli side the win.
Great Season So Far
They have also enjoyed a good start to the domestic season, they find themselves third in the Israeli Premier League.
Ten points from five matches has been a good start, they have registered three wins, one draw and one defeat during that time.
Their last game saw them beat Bnei Yehuda away 3-0, another excellent result that helped them recover from their first loss of the season, a 2-1 defeat to Maccabi Haifa.
Hard Start For Hapoel
Hapoel have endured a tough start with an away trip to the San Siro, but they will be delighted to have come away from that game with two goals and three points.
Southampton are the second British side that Hapoel have faced, with two legs against Celtic for a place in the Champions League having been completed.
They were beaten 5-2 at Parkhead which ultimately cost them the tie, they were impressive in winning the second log by 2-0 to keep Celtic sweating on their progression.
This match will be hard to call but despite home advantage Hapoel are still the underdogs.
Hapoel are 21/10 with Anthony Nwakaeme at 13/2 to score first.
Four Successive Wins
Southampton come into this game on the back of a thumping 3-0 win away against West Ham on Sunday.
Goals from Charlie Austin (40), Dusan Tadic (62) and James Ward-Prowse (90+2) completed a wonderful afternoon for Claude Puel's side.
They compiled another miserable result to Slaven Bilic and his side, with another heavy defeat at home putting his job in jeopardy.
Southampton come into this match in fantastic form having won four successive matches in all competitions.
Great Season So Far
The Saints started the season in poor form, with two wins and two draws coming from their opening four matches.
They have lost two matches but in the form of Manchester United and Arsenal there is no disgrace there.
Wins against West Ham and Swansea have ignited their Premier League season, they have also registered a 2-0 win in the EFL Cup against Crystal Palace.
Another Great Season Ahead?
Southampton's turning point this season came in the 3-0 win against Sparta Prague a fortnight ago.
A brace from Charlie Austin (5 pen, 27) and a Jay Rodriguez goal late on (90+2) made it a very convincing win for Saints in their opening Europa League match.
They face a side in Hapoel who shocked favourites Inter Milan 2-0 at home, this will give the Israeli side great confidence coming into this match.
Claude Puel's side will have a hard match in front of them, Hapoel comfortably beat Celtic 2-0 in the Champions League tie a month ago.
Southampton are 13/10 with Charlie Austin at 5/1 to open the scoring.
