The Gunners come into this match in poor form, albeit winning their first away game of the calendar year against Middlesbrough.

Boro fell behind courtesy of an excellent free kick from Alexis Sanchez (42), although Brad Guzan's positioning of the wall was questionable.

Alvaro Negredo (50) equalised for the hosts just five minutes after the restart, after more terrible defending from Arsenal.

Daniel Ayala had a golden chance to head Middlesbrough in front soon after, but he was unable to find a way past Cech.

The Gunners desperately need a win in this match, with the top four looking extremely unlikely this season.

Poor results against Crystal Palace and West Brom mean they have lost a third of their last six.

They remain highly doubtful to qualify for the Champions League, with the Gunners seven points behind City in the league.

During Wenger's tenure they have never failed to qualify for the Champions League, and have never finished below Tottenham.

Guardiola's men will have two aims this season, finishing in the top three if possible and securing an FA Cup win.

Manchester City remain in fourth place in the league, but the FA Cup will take precedence this weekend.

The match against Arsenal sees Manchester City emerge as favourites, with City's pedigree informing the bookmakers.
