Had a tip off a friend, 5.20 yarmouth, dreamwalker, got on at 6, its worth a go apparantly
Beginners luck yesterday, 2 winners and 2 places, hope for more of the same today
Thats good news, dabble with it, you’ll find as long as you have a winner you’ll make a profit, but at least you can spread the bet out a bit. Yesterday wasn’t brilliant but I dutched a fiver on 3.05 at Tipperary and won just over £13 inc my stake, Let me know how you get on
Dutching worked today, only had two bets with the following results:
3:10 plumpton…on the feather @ 12 (won), ministry @ 11 (place), pindar @ 3.5 (lost)
5:00 windsor…authoritarian @ 6 (won), uncle dermott @ 10 (place), saint irene @ 4.5 (lost)
Had a fiver on each race and used the calculator to work out the amount on each horse. Went e/w on anything over 10 on the odds(split the recommended bet in half)
Made a profit on the day just under a tenner, not enough to retire on but encouraging for tomorrow!!
Dave dont forget to enter the odds as decimals not fractions into the odds checker, there’s plenty of converters on line, seems a faff but once you’re used to it it can be done quickly. Good luck

I’m with Graham, I only bet a couple of pounds for the fun of it. I’ve found that dutching can be profitable! Theres a dutching calculator, Oddschecker.com which works out how much to bet on two or more selections in each race (and of course whether or not you’ll make a profit). I’ve been divided the set amount by half and putting each way bets on two or three horses in a race and guess what……it works, only snag is betting on a horse that actually comes in!!!! But at least you can minimise loses. Try it

A Lucky 15 for 50p=£7.50 would have only paid£725

You lose 80% but if you get 3 or the 4 in it pays a lot more. For the cost of a 50p Lucky 15 you have 5 bets at £1.50.
Hello Kevin, I don’t have a system, apart from losing. On Friday I had over 10 winners yet still managed to pick up nothing. I only do trebles and fourfolds. Usually lump four horses together and do a fourfold and four trebles, this can pay well if all come in, e.g, 4 at 2-1 pays £144 for a £5 stake, four £1 trebles and a£1 fourfold. I find this better than doing Yankees or Lucky 15’s if only doing small stakes. The risk is higher, one horse goes down and you lose80%

I’m picking horses that win and place and have tried the doubles, singles and 15’s, I’m only putting very small bets on compared to you guys I suspect, with Paddy Power, but am just breaking even or sometimes winning less than I put on but the ‘potential returns’ state a lot more, can someone explain what I’m doing wrong, maybe I should be upping my stakes!!!!
