    I do not use Internet Explorer.

    have not used it in years apart from when I tried to use Formcracker which still comes up with errors in my PC

  133. After analyzing the results for the month I have spent 6 hours adding new data to my database.

    I have had to re-write most of the software to include the new data and re-enter all race courses.
    I hope that will improve the ratings.

  134. Matt, William and Keith have been at pains to point out that you will not win backing every horse they put up. Its using their info along with your ow that I find does help. For example yesterdays bet of the day with Matt i was interested in but I fancied Duke of Clarence which was also confirmed in Keiths system. So backed both at 13/8 and 11/4 and made a nice profit. Today am interested in Galician 3.40 Yarmouth so I am interested in whether this one features in the guys ratings.

    I realise what you do is difficult using these ratings.I pretty much think you have got the right idea mate in how you approach your betting.Unfortunately we all like a big win so accas are tempting and when we get ratings that give so many winners it makes it even more so.Thats possibly the only down side of all these great ratings that we have a lot of selections and its difficult to decide how best to play them, thats why i think so many play accas.Anyway the way you bet is the way everyone should,slow steady profit but again this relies on finding good ratings that get a winner every 4 races i suppose.Whatever you decide mate good luck but i will say this will be slightly worse without you.

  327. Hi Roger, to delete a file: Go to file, selected delete race. The race list will pop-up. Then choose the one you want to delete1e 1 race at a time. That is how it has worked for me.

  590. bsh66 For the last 10 days have tried the system of doing level stakes on all selections and when in profit stop …using this method there have been 3 losing days but there has been enough money from previous days to cover losses. from starting with 1st bets of £20 have not had to add to bank yet…we hit a high of over£600 but a couple of bad result days lost some of that and we have now seemed to have recoverd our loss for those days

    havin looked at the formcracker site
    you might solve the import problems
    when you get to ladbrooks horse racing page
    if you click on the form tab which is found at the top right hand side of the page next to the results tab where it gives the race meeting title. this will open another window and it is from there that you can select all and copy, and i have found that it will import then with no more hassle!!
    havin tried it it is throwing up more or less the same results as matt and kieth so far some differences thou as you might expect

  624. Morning all,just a quickie for Anita regarding Formcracker.After reading about it yesterday i had a look to find i already had it on my computer and remembered i had trouble with it before so gave up.
    Anyway i tried again last night and it worked fine. (i even used it to predict the last 3 races last night,all lost by the way)
    I have just tried again and it now wont work no message or anything it will import but the cards are all over the place and something is badly wrong.Shame as it looks interesting but obviously very troublesome and not worth the effort i would say.

  625. Hello guys and gals. At last I’m back in action!! After all the trauma with my brothers heart op, (he’s back fully fit now thank god!!), I decided a couple of weeks ago to take part in the annual charity cricket match between my village and the local neighbours. What a mistake, for 1 I’m no spring chicken anymore, my mind told my body otherwise!! and for 2, well the story goes like this…..Our innings finished on 120 after our 20 overs, not a bad score for rusty old men. In the last over, the opponents needed 8 runs to win. After 4 balls they needed 5 runs, so all of us fielders retreated to the boundaries to stop any big hits. Next thing I knew there was a loud crack of leather on willow and the ball came hurtling towards me. Running sideways for the catch, I didn’t see the young 12 year old on the boundary with the cricket bat in his hand, he didn’t see me. I could hear a bit of shouting but assumed it was to try and put me off. Next thing there was another sound of something hitting willow, this time it was my hands!! The little sod thought it would be funny to hit the ball back!! For the last 2 weeks I’ve had both hands strapped up with 3 fractured fingers on each, so not been able to type. At last the bandages are off so I’m back at it, even though a little slower than usual. I’ve been frustrated reading some of the negative comments on this forum from a certain mindless moron whose name we all know and not being able to comment at his attack on the legends who post their selections on here. I’ll not comment as my mum always used to say there is dignity in silence, what I will say though is thanks Keith for rising above it all and staying with us, I’m also looking forward to SA Man returning tomorrow. To all of the other guys and gals who post their selections on here, many thanks, it makes life easier to pick a winner or two. Looking forward to growing the betting bank in the coming days. Be lucky everyone, and as my old dad used to say, DON’T LET THE BASTARDS GRIND YOU DOWN, BUT IF THEY DO, KICK ‘EM IN THE BOLLOCKS AND RUN LIKE HELL!!

  631. Jo with regards to stop at a winner I will tell you what worked for me. With Norman’s advice I realised that utilsing Matt’s and Williams and now Keith’s selections there were a lot of winners. Norman mentioned that when they had the same selection there was a high strike rate. So these became the selections. Decide how much you would like to win a day. I started with just 5 pound as my target. So if the odds of the selection is say 2-1 then stake 2.50. If it wins thats it for the day. If it loses then your next bet needs to win 5pound plus the lost stake in this instance 2.50 so the next bet you need to back to win 7.50. Apologies if this is teaching granny to suck eggs. Norman always stopped at 4 losses in a day but a couple of times as my stakes were small I went passed this. Small and often has built up my bank and have upped my daily target. As Norman says you must have discipline. I have made almost 200.00 in less than 3 weeks. I hope this makes sense. You mustn’t get carried away like i did but aired my views on here and had lots of brilliant advice. I dont think you will find a better group of people so keep asking for advice because you will get help.

Just in case here is the manual way of doing it its very simple.If the back odds are say 10 put a back bet in for say £5 at 30 something that you know wont get matched,now click on open bets and change the £5 bet to say £6.5 and place the bet.You will now have two seperate unsettled bets of £5 at 30 and £1.50 at 30.
    Cancel the £5 bet and this time change the odds of the £1.50 bet to the current back odds that you require.Simples.

    Joining Betfair is a breeze. Though other people here have said that then you get stuck with a minimum £2 per bet that is technically true but not actually true.

    You can easily get around the £2 minimum by downloading the free version of BetTrader Evolution.

    With this you can even place bets as low as 1 pence. Yes I double checked this today by placing a 1 pence bet myself.

    You will need to set up a Betfair account first and deposit a minimum of £10 I think – I have not checked the minimum on Betfair recently.

    Then go and download BetTrader Evolution and follow instructions.

    As said tired now but, as there other advantages to using BetTrader rather than Betfair’s own platform, I will try and explain more later to anybody who is interested.
