Burnley face Huddersfield at Turf Moor on Saturday lunchtime, in the sixth round of games in the Premier League.

The Clarets come into this match in good form, despite crashing out of the Carabao Cup after a 5-3 penalty shootout.

It was a dull match up until the 80th minute when the match sprang into life, with Hadi Sacko giving the visitors a 1-0 lead (80).

Former Leeds man Chris Wood equalised nine minutes later from the penalty spot (89), with Long brought down by Berardi.

Leeds were awarded the second penalty of the night when Tarkowski was judged to have impeded Roofe, Hernandez stepping up to make it 2-1 to Leeds (90+4).

Robbie Brady scored a tremendous free kick in the dying moments of the game to send it to extra time and penalties (90+6).

But ultimately it was Leeds who progress, after winning the penalty shootout 5-3 to knock Burnley out and at Turf Moor.

Tough Follow Up

Sean Dyche's side have enjoyed an excellent run of results against top sides, with five points from the Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool games.

They will have been disappointed with their other result against West Brom, losing a valuable three points at home.

Burnley had one of the best home records in the Premier League last season, they will be looking for successive home wins.

This match against Huddersfield is another important game for both sides, with both currently sitting in the top seven.

 

Clarets Favourites

Burnley come into this match as favourites, with home advantage decisive for the bookies.

Sean Dyche's men will be looking for their third win of the new campaign, a result that will move them onto 11 points after six matches.

The Clarets will be looking for their fourth consecutive win against the Terriers.

Tough Week

The Terriers come into this match in poor form, having suffered two defeats and a draw in the last week.

They lost their last match 1-0 against Roy Hodgson's Palace, with the Terriers now out of the Carabao Cup.

Bakary Sako scored the only goal of the game (13), with his header enough to secure safe passage to the fourth round.

It was Palace's first win over Premier League opposition since May and Hodgson's first in charge of Palace.

Wagner will be unhappy as his side were well in the match, it is another narrow margin of defeat for the German.

Despite their excellent start Huddersfield have found the going to be much harder in their last three games.

This match against Burnley will be a tough proposition, with the Clarets an excellent side at home.

Huddersfield find themselves 6th in the Premier League, if they were to win they would also move to 11 points after six matches.
