Burnley face West Brom at Turf Moor on Saturday afternoon, in the second round of games in the Premier League.

The Clarets come into this match in excellent form, having secured the greatest result in their history in the 3-2 win against Chelsea.

Gary Cahill was sent off early in the match for Chelsea (14), with the captain sent off for a reckless challenge on Steven Deffour.

Burnley capitalised on their one man advantage, with Sam Vokes opening the scoring just ten minutes later (24).

Chelsea were down to ten men in the 81st minute, with Cesc Fabregas given a second yellow card after an appalling foul late on.

David Luiz did bring Chelsea to within one goal (88), an incredible effort for nine men and the match ended 3-2.

That was an incredible win for Sean Dyche's side, to beat the Champions at home and scoring three goals is an amazing result.

They would never have thought three points possible, but if they win at Turf Moor they will have secured the maximum points from their first two games.

Burnley had one of the best home records in the Premier League last season, with only Tottenham and Chelsea bettering it.

 

Clarets Favourites

Burnley come into this match as favourites, with home advantage decisive for the bookies.

Sean Dyche's men will be looking to win this opening home fixture, securing two from two this season.

The Clarets will be looking for their first win in five matches against the Baggies.

New Season

The Baggies come into this match in good form, having secured a solid 1-0 win against Bournemouth on the opening day.

Ahmed Hegazi scored the only goal of the match for West Brom, with a header from a corner enough to win the match (31).

Bournemouth dominated possession with 71% of the ball, but they failed to make it count with only nine shots, and two on target.

It will be a tough season for Tony Pulis, especially after the club over achieved in last seasons Premier League.

They have made an excellent signing in Gareth Barry during the week, with the 36-year-old highly experienced.

West Brom come into this match as underdogs, with home advantage decisive for the bookies.

Tony Pulis' men will be looking to follow up on their excellent win last weekend, it will be tough against Burnley though.
