Leicester vs Tottenham– Tuesday 28th November 2017 – 19:45

Leicester are 7/2 with Jamie Vardy at 5/1 to score first.

Leicester host Tottenham at the King Power Stadium on Tuesday evening, in the first round of fixtures after the international break.

The Foxes come into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw against West Ham, a hard-fought point for Leicester.

Leicester took an early lead through Marc Albrighton (8), with the poisonous atmosphere at the London Stadium of late never appearing.

The fans stuck with the players though and they got the rewards in the 45th minute when Cheikhou Kouyate equalised for the Hammers.

It's a solid result for both sides, with new managers David Moyes and Claude Puel in need of any points.

New Manager

Leicester unveiled Claude Puel as their new manager, with the Frenchman replacing Craig Shakespeare.

He has enjoyed a mixed honeymoon period, with one win, two draws and a defeat in their opening four matches.

Their only blemish is a 2-0 defeat against Manchester City, no shame against one of the best sides in Europe.

The Foxes find themselves in 12th position in the league, a far cry from when Puel joined the club.

Leicester Underdogs

Claude Puel's side come into this match as the underdogs, despite enjoying home advantage.

This will be a tough match for Leicester, with Tottenham a quality side under Mauricio Pochettino.

Leicester will be looking for a first win in five matches against Spurs.

Tough Result

Tottenham come into this match on the back of a mixed draw against managerless West Brom.

They recorded a 1-1 draw against the Baggies, a tough result for a talented Tottenham side.

Spurs got off to the worst possible start when Salomon Rondon opened the scoring for the Baggies inside the first five minutes (4).

Harry Kane spared Tottenham's blushes (74) with a defeat at Wembley unthinkable for Pochettino's side.

Spurs couldn't find a winner and it means that they are able to avoid defeat but they will feel it's two points dropped.

Gunner Response

It has been an excellent response from Tottenham, after losing 2-0 to Arsenal in the North London Derby.

They have suffered two defeats in their last six, against Arsenal and Manchester United.

Pochettino's side have had an impressive Champions League campaign, with a 2-1 win against Dortmund last week.

Tottenham have now slipped to fifth in the PL, below North London rivals Arsenal and 13 behind leaders City.

Spurs Favourites

Mauricio Pochettino's side come into this match as favourites, with their pedigree informing the bookies.

Tottenham will be looking to win this fixture, keeping the pressure on the sides in and around them.

Spurs will be looking for their 39th win in 85 matches against Leicester.

Tottenham are 8/11 with Harry Kane at 11/4 to open the scoring.
