New Manager

It has been another season of change for Southampton on the managerial front, with Mauricio Pellegrino now in the hot seat.

It's been a tough start for the new Saints manager, their record in the last six is poor, winning just one match.

They find themselves in 14th place in the table, a poor position for the Saints to be in.

In Everton, they face a side who have an appalling season, their defence brutally exposed again in midweek.

Fighting Draw

Everton come into this match on the back of a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace, a battling point for the Toffees.

James McArthur gave the hosts an early lead (1) their fastest goal in Premier League history leaving the Toffees stunned.

Leighton Baines scored Everton's last goal from the penalty spot, so it was a case of deja vu when he yet again stepped up to the spot to save Everton (6).

Wilfried Zaha gave Palace the lead for the second time in the match (35), with the winger proving critical to Palace's chances of moving out of the relegation spots.

Oumar Niasse equalised with a cool finish from a Sigurdsson cross (45+1), the striker will now serve a two-match ban for simulation.

Poor Form

Everton have had an appalling season with Ronald Koeman's sacking doing little to arrest their poor form.

They have lost four, won one and drawn one of their last six matches, an appalling return for a side that has had so much investment.

The Toffees are in 16th place in the PL, with 12 points from their opening 12 fixtures.

They have yet to appoint a permanent manager, it is unlikely that Unsworth will get the position full time, especially after the 5-1 defeat in midweek.
