Swansea vs Bournemouth – Saturday 25th November 2017 – 15:00

Swansea are 7/4 with Tammy Abraham at 4/1 to score first.

Swansea face Bournemouth at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday afternoon, in another round of games in the Premier League.

The Swans come into this match on the back of a 2-0 away defeat against Burnley, another tough result for Paul Clements men.

Jack Cork managed to pull one over on his old club (29), with the defender nodding home Robbie Brady's cross.

Ashley Barnes made it 2-0 just before the break (40), the forward converting Jeff Hendricks cross-field pass.

It was another fine home win for Sean Dyche's side but another poor result for Paul Clement's men.

Tough Run

Swansea had a poor campaign last season, they have continued to struggle this term as well, although the board have given their support.

They come into this match on a run of five defeats in six matches, with just the one win against Huddersfield.

The Swans are 19th in the Premier League, they desperately need a result in this fixture to climb up the table.

They face a fixture in the form of Bournemouth, they are a side in and around them and need to maximise on home advantage.

Swans Underdogs

Paul Clement's side come into this match as underdogs, with their poor run of form and current league position.

This will be a tough match for Swansea, with Bournemouth on a run of four wins in six matches.

Swansea will be looking to avoid four successive wins against the Cherries.

Home Tie

The Cherries come into this match in great form, securing a stunning 4-0 win against Huddersfield last weekend.

Callum Wilson continued his return from a long-term injury with a well-deserved hat-trick (26, 31, 84).

Wilson struck twice in the space of five minutes in the first half, before completing the job six minutes before the end.

Bournemouth were reduced to ten men when Simon Francis saw red just before the interval (45+4).

Harry Arter scored Bournemouth's third (70), with the midfielder scoring the goal that all but confirmed their victory.

It was an excellent result for Eddie Howe's side, even more impressive when you consider they did it with just ten men.

Mixed Season

It's been a mixed season for Eddie Howe's side, they began the season really poorly but they are now in great form.

They will have been delighted with their recent run, they have won four of their last six matches in all competitions.

Narrow defeats against Chelsea and Tottenham have been their only blemishes, tough fixtures for a struggling Cherries side.

The Seagulls find themselves in 13th place, six places above the hosts Swansea.

Cherries Favourites

Bournemouth come into this match as the favourites, enjoying a far better start to the season than Swansea.

Eddie Howe will be looking for his side to make it five wins in seven matches and extend their excellent run of form.

The Cherries will be looking for their 1st win in 8 matches against Swansea.

Bournemouth are 13/8 with Callum Wilson at 9/2 to open the scoring.
