Romelu Lukaku capped a dream home debut when he opened the scoring (32), after expertly rounding Joe Hart.

The Belgian doubled the lead after the break, scoring an expert header to make it 2-0 (52).

Anthony Martial made an instant impact as a substitute, scoring a fine goal in the 87th minute to make it 3-0.

That was an excellent start from United, Mourinho will be delighted with the all round performance from his side.

Romelu Lukaku enjoyed a dream debut, Rashford and Martial were lively throughout and Nemanja Matic was named Man of the match.

The 4-0 scoreline against West Ham was his biggest Premier League win as United manager.

The Portuguese is still looking for one more signing to complete his squad, with a left sided midfielder top of his list.
