Tottenham face Swansea at Wembley Stadium on Saturday evening, in the fourth match at Wembley this season.

Spurs come into this match on the back of a 3-1 win against Borussia Dortmund, an excellent result for Pochettino's side.

Heung Min Son (4), gave Tottenham an early lead, with the forward finishing an excellent move down the left-hand side.

Andriy Yarmolenko scored a stunning equaliser seven minutes later (11), curling a spectacular left-footed strike into the top corner.

Harry Kane scored a goal in either half to secure an excellent victory (15, 60), with the first a carbon copy of Son's opener.

Jan Vertonghen was sent off late on (90+2), with Tottenham sure to appeal the sanction after replays showed it was a harsh decision.

 

Breakthrough Win

Tottenham have had a mixed start to the season, but this win against Dortmund is a massive win for Spurs.

This will go some way to silencing their Wembley critics but they have yet to achieve a breakthrough win in the Premier League.

They won their last game against Everton 3-0, an excellent performance from Pochettino's side away from home.

That win takes them up to fifth in the Premier League, just three points behind leaders Manchester United.

 

Spurs Favourites

Mauricio Pochettino's side come into this match as favourites, with their record over the last two seasons informing the odds.

This will be a tough match for Spurs, with the club looking to register a Premier League win at Wembley.

Tottenham have won 10 of the last 11 games against Swansea.

Swansea come into this match in mixed form, losing their last against Newcastle 1-0.

Jamaal Lascelles scored the only goal of the game (76), with the Magpies defender heading his side to victory.

The Magpies completely dominated proceedings at the Liberty Stadium, building on the fine win at West Ham.

Despite enjoying a meagre 38% possession, they produced 16 total shots with 8 of them on target.

While the hosts Swansea were wasteful, with 62% of the ball on producing 10 shots and four on target.

One Win

The Swans come into this match on the back of two defeats, one draw and one win in their opening four matches.

Their only win of the season came in the 2-0 defeat of Crystal Palace, an excellent win for the Swans.

Defeats against Newcastle and Manchester United have contributed to their league position.

They currently find themselves in 15th place in the league, with four points from four matches.

 

Swans Underdogs

Swansea come into this match as the underdogs, with Tottenham's pedigree informing the odds.

The Swans will be looking to produce another shock, with Spurs a massive scalp for them.

Clement's side will be looking to secure a first win since the 1982/83 season.

Swansea are 11/1 with Tammy Abraham, Jordan Ayew and Wilfried Bony all at 12/1 to open the scoring.
