This is a huge season for Pochettino and Tottenham, with the Argentinian now needing to secure some silverware this season.
Tottenham had another excellent league season, with Spurs finishing in 2nd place in the Premier League.

Premier League
Tottenham's opening fixture of this brand new Premier League campaign is against newly promoted Newcastle on Sunday 13th August, at St. James' Park.

Burnley (H) 27th August
Everton (A) 9th September
Swansea (H) 16th September
This will be a mixed set of opening fixtures for Spurs, they face both Chelsea and Everton in the opening month, with Chelsea a tough opponent in recent years.
They will be confident of winning all of their opening matches, especially with the Chelsea match early in the season and at home as well.
Their record against the top six last season was good, they were mid table in the top six mini league.
Tottenham managed 26 wins during their last campaign, ending the season with 86 points, 7 behind Champions Chelsea.
This was an improvement on the points tally of the 2015/16 campaign, where they registered 70 points and 19 wins, finishing third in the Premier League.
European Football
They had a poor season in Europe though, crashing out of the Champions League at the group stage and then failing in the Europa League as well.
That will be an experience that Pochettino will not want to repeat, with Spurs aiming to progress in Europe.
Tottenham did produce an excellent run in the FA Cup though, losing to Chelsea in a thrilling Semi-Final 4-2.
Their EFL Cup run was mixed however, losing 2-1 to Liverpool in the early stages.
Transfer Activity
Tottenham already had a strong squad but they have yet to make any signings in this transfer window.
They have sold right back Kyle Walker to title rivals Manchester City for £50 million, it leaves Trippier as their only recognised right back.
Spurs have also been credited with an interest in wantaway Everton midfielder Ross Barkley, who has also been valued at £50 million but with a year left on his contract.
The emphasis will be on adding quality to the squad, as well as changing the mentality of the side.
Keeping the group together will have been Spurs highest priority, with the likes of Kane, Alli and Eriksen vital for Spurs.

Harry Kane is the one to watch for Tottenham this season.
The England international has been a huge success for Spurs in the last two seasons, leading them to their highest Premier League finishes.
He is the complete forward, another good season for Tottenham could see him depart for the likes of Real Madrid.
Tottenham will need his hold up play and goals, he is absolutely vital to this side's chances of securing success.
