Arsenal face Sunderland at the Emirates Stadium on Wednesday, following on from their tough defeat at the hands of Tottenham.

The Gunners come into this match in great form, with a 4-1 thrashing of Stoke at the weekend.

Olivier Giroud opened the scoring for the visitors in the 42nd minute, he returned later on, to make it 4-1 and finish the scoring (80).

Mesut Ozil continued his fine recent form with the Gunners second (55), before Peter Crouch made it 2-1 twelve minutes later.

It looked set to be a frantic end to the match before Alexis Sanchez (76), restored Arsenal's two-goal cushion.

The result ensures that Arsenal keep alive their faint hopes of a top-four finish, they are three points behind Manchester City.

The Gunners must win their next two matches if they are to have any chance of finishing in the top four.

They have reached the FA Cup final but the top four will be Wenger's main priority.

They still remain highly doubtful to qualify for the Champions League, they need Manchester City or Liverpool to slip up to have any chance.

Ultimately, it was another poor performance from Sunderland, they have deserved relegation and it will be a huge rebuilding job needed.

Poor Season

David Moyes side have had a tough season, but the rebuilding job now begins for them in the Championship.

They come into the match in poor form, having lost four and registered just five points in their last six games.

Sunderland have been bottom for most of the season, they have lost 24 of their 36 games winning just six matches.

The likes of Jermaine Defoe and Jordan Pickford are likely to leave the club, they face a very tough time now.

The Black Cats come into this match as underdogs, they could spring an unwanted surprise on Arsenal though.

Man City are 1/7 with Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus at 5/2 to score first.

Manchester City welcome West Brom to the Etihad in the Premier League, with City chasing a top four finish.

Guardiola's side come into this match on the back of a 2-1 win against Leicester, an excellent result.

David Silva opened the scoring for Guardiola's side (29), with Sterling appearing to play the ball in an offside position.

Gabriel de Jesus (36) made it 2-0 from the penalty spot, after a clumsy foul on Leroy Sane from Benalouane.

Shinji Okazaki halved the deficit (42), with a thunderous volley that easily beat Willy Caballero.

Leicester thought they had stolen a point when Riyad Mahrez converted a 76th-minute penalty.

But he was adjudged to have kicked the ball twice and the goal was disallowed, leaving City with a fortuitous win.

City Unbeaten In Three

City have been in mixed form of late, but their only defeat has been at the hands of Arsenal in the FA Cup Semi-Final.

They have been lucky, with both United and Arsenal completing poor results they still remain on course for the top four.

Guardiola's men will be wanting to secure a third-placed finish as the minimum, a win will see them move above Liverpool.

City Favourites

The match against West Brom sees Manchester City emerge as favourites, with home advantage and league position dictating the odds.

They face a West Brom side who have been appalling in their last six matches, they are winless during that time.

Pep will be looking for City to register a 58th win against the Baggies, all but confirming their top four place in the process.

West Brom come into this match as the underdogs, with home advantage proving decisive.

This will be another tough fixture for Tony Pulis' side, with Manchester City chasing a top four spot.
