The North London club came into the season on the back of a third-placed finish, behind Leicester and Arsenal.
It was a season that promised much but ultimately saw it end in disaster, with Pochettino's men finishing behind the Gunners.

Great Start
Mauricio Pochettino's side made an unbeaten start to the season, drawing two and winning one of their opening three matches.
September was a great month for Spurs, they were unbeaten domestically but lost their opening CL fixture against Monaco.
October was another good month for Spurs, they did lose their first PL game of the season against Liverpool.
Ultimately their Champions League campaign ended in disappointment, they were also knocked out of the Europa League by Gent.
Their final two matches saw them score 13 goals and concede 2, an excellent end to the season.
Tottenham lost just four matches all season, the lowest in the Premier League.
Cup Run
Tottenham also progressed to the Semi-Final's of the FA Cup this season, a thrilling 4-2 defeat against Chelsea.
Spurs will be looking to finally end their cup drought, the only thing missing from Pochettino's CV is a trophy.
They beat Aston Villa, Wycombe Wanderers, Fulham and Millwall before losing to Chelsea in the Semi-Final.

Harry Kane was Spurs top scorer this season, with the England international scoring an incredible 29 goals.
Christian Eriksen was Tottenham's top assister this season, with the Dane enjoying another excellent campaign.
New signing Victor Wanyama enjoyed a great debut season, registering 90 tackles in the centre of midfield.
Dele Alli contributed to 25 goals this season, scoring 18 and assisting 7 goals.
Their final points tally was 86, that was 16 points better than last season and a position higher.
Thanks to the likes of Kane, Alli and Eriksen ensured that they ended the season with the league's best goal difference.
Transfer Speculation
Pochettino will be understandably keen to add to his side, the priority will be adding more quality to his side in key areas.
They have been linked with a number of players, including Everton contract rebel Ross Barkley, as well as Fulham's Ryan Sessegnon.
Moussa Sissoko and Vincent Janssen are likely to depart, and Kyle Walker has been linked with Manchester City.
A striker and a defender are sure to be top of Pochettino's wishlist, with a Premier League title challenge in prospect.
