  1. After checking out a handful of the blog posts on your website, I seriously appreciate your technique of blogging. I book marked it to my bookmark site list and will be checking back soon. Please check out my website as well and tell me your opinion.

  2. Your Comments. Ray do you have a web site of your own carrying your selections. Great start. Missed your first winner. Lets hope your week goes well and most of all, profitable.

  3. In the week Gary Im very strict with myself, I set a target,I will continue to bet until Ive made a minimum of £75 for the day But like yesterday I normally would have stopped after the fist race with Nazreef winning the first.

I will make this 9/10 it all depends on the day,Sometimes if the first one dont come in I look to carry on or stop and do something else

But what I like to do is treat my betting like my own business and I pay myself fortnightly (my wages) Lol

  4. Hi Ray. Thanks for sharing your selections. I noticed that somebody said they had been following your selections for a couple of months. Where are they following you or where else can I follow your selections after you finish here?

  5. Yeah I got what you were saying Ray would you not take some of the cash out if you had 3 winners on the bounce betting your winnings each time?

  6. Hi Guys

    Thanks for your kind comments

(Gary) I meant Thurs Gary,i remember there was no Racing Good Friday and I didnt know what to do with myself Lol

    (Joseph) I got on @ 25’s Joseph!!
I will send my Selections to Jason before 10am and its when he gets five minutes he will then put them up,So that’s the best we can do mate

(Eamon) Well done mate,Mines a Bottle Of Budweiser please Lol

(Pete) If there’s UK Racing Il be having a bet Pete,Im expecting a better day tomorrow with a few more winners,Only one winner today Im not really happy unless I get at least 2 Lol,Keep your eye out in the morning for my fancies

(Rich) I cant take credit for Jason’s pick Rich

(Arnie) You need discipline in this game, otherwise you will get bitten!!

  7. Nice one Ray ok only one winner & NR but, if 11’s had been taken by followers of your goodself with a level £10 stake to each of the others we all made a nice few quid “Luvely Jublee”. Keep putting them up there and lets see. As you said some win/lose so to be expected. One point! Any chance of getting them earlier to get a better price?

    Good Luck
    Jobo

  8. Nice start Ray, I just went with your first pick Nazreef@11/1 EW and Aurora @15/1 EW(Jason) and WoW, won’t be betting today till tomorrow, and I like that system of if it loses let it go, but that’s some hard discipline, lol.

  9. Things started so well……..Not a terrible day thanks to Nazreef 11/1 doing the business, I normally stop at a winner which would have been perfect today, But as its Saturday I went a little crazy!!

So 1 winner,a Non Runner in the last and a little disappointing for the rest (we cant win them all even though i really do try!! lol)

Look out for my next 6 in the Morning

    Have a great Weekend

    Ray

  10. Nice start Ray, I just went with your first pick Nazreef@11/1 EW and Aurora@15/1 EW(Jason) and WoW, won’t be betting today till tomorrow, and I like that system of if it loses let it go, but that’s some hard discipline, lol.

  12. Your Comments Hi Ray – Im a cautious gambler, so I will be just watching your selections today!! Will you be having a bet on Sunday or Monday and when will we find out about what you fancy?

  13. Ray,

Cracking winner with your first of the day although it was a bitter finish for me, having the 2nd and 3rd placed horses!

I went for the wrong Ellison horse but the 14/1 EW on Bocciani covered my stakes in that race. Bocciani had an awkward head carriage when jumping his fences, pulling to the right. As Haydock is left-handed this is one to keep an eye on when jumping right handed.

A nice winner for Fallon on board Capivator and a bit of a nearly day for me with just the place. Maybe one of the other readers took the EW and would have been rewarded with a 7/1 winner.

It’s been a great day so far with a lovely winner with Auroras Encore from Jason at 12’s and I’ve just had a cracking winner with Chapter Seven winning at Musselburgh and I took the early 22/1 with bet Victor this morning…beers on me this eve!

Good luck with the remainder of your selections.

    Eamon

  14. Hi Gary

I actually use £10 level stakes, But it depends on what sort of mood Im in, The selections were all backed at £10 each on Friday Afternoon I always do this for the bigger & better prices for Saturdays Racing but will explain what I do in the week

For instance on Friday I Backed Swiss Art It for £10 it Won@ 7/2 ,I then backed Heartsong it won @ 7/4, Kingswinford It Won @16/1 I only stopped on the next Race as it lost,But the most you will ever lose is a tenner,If the first bet of the day loses I leave it for the day but always with one eye on my selections just to see what if…

Hope that makes some form of sense Gary

    Ray

  15. Hi Jason & Ray,

Thanks for these. I’ll paper trade these for now but wish you all the best with them.

I also fancy Willie Haggis’ mare, Sooraah to get the better of the likely favourite, Law Of The Range, in this race. These two are well clear of the rest on official ratings and are the only two to have won a Class 1. Law Of The Range has been off the track for 8 months, whereas Sooraah raced at Lingfield (10f) a few weeks ago and won at Meydan 6 weeks ago at this trip so I think the drop back to 8f will suit. I’ve taken the 11/4 with Bet365 this morning. Of the others, Captivator with Kieron Fallon on board could be the best of the rest and is available at 3.5 for the place.

2.25 Haydock Handicap Chase, class 2

A number of these horses are stepping up in class today. The ground officially good today and I like the look of a few horses in this race.
    Carrickboy
    Tiger O’Toole
    Bocciani

Tiger O Toole is too short for me. Carrickboy is carrying top weight but despite preferring softer ground, I don’t see that being too much of a concern with the ground being good today. This is his sort of trip and he finished a respectable 6th at the festival behind Hunt Ball, only a few lengths out of the places. Bocciani has respectable, recent form figures at this sort of distance. He’s stepping up in class again today and Dennis O Regan takes the ride today, having won on board, back in December. Sound Accord is Brian Ellison’s other charge also at 10’s and is carrying a lightweight 10-4 but I prefer Bocciani.

So, with all said and done it’s Carrickboy 12/1 (Stan James) & Bocciani 14/1 (Bet Victor) EW for me.

    All the best,

    Eamon

  16. Thanks Guys

Hope your all still speaking to me at around 6pm tonight Lol

And yes well spotted Mark I did mean 520 NA, Ive just had one of those mornings Lol

I do Greg,But just like everything in life,I have good days and bad days that’s just life Im afraid
Ive learnt that you will lose more bets than you win its just making the bets that do come in more than cover you whilst still making a profit

That’s why Im always looking for value and rarely back Fav’s,But if there is value there then yes I will back Fav’s

    Best Of Luck Guys

    Ray

  17. Your Comments Nice to see someone trying to share there knowledge, hope it’s good Ray, one question, do you make your gambling pay for itself?

    Good Luck

    Greg
