Real Madrid are 10/11 with Cristiano Ronaldo at 7/2 to score first.

Real Madrid face Manchester United at the Philip II Arena in Macedonia on Tuesday, in the UEFA Super Cup.

Zinedine Zidane's men come into this match on the back of a warm up defeat, this time a 3-2 loss against El Clasico rivals Barcelona.

Lionel Messi (3) opened the scoring for Barcelona, in a week when all of the talk and speculation has been about the future of Neymar.

Ivan Rakitic made it 2-0 just four minutes later (7), with Madrid's defence ruthlessly exposed by the Catalans.

Mateo Kovacic pulled one back for Real just seven minutes later (14), to make it 2-1.

Marco Asensio made it 2-2 in the 36th minute, with both defences struggling to keep the goals out.

An unlikely source in the form of Gerard Pique came to Barcelona's rescue, with the defender sealing a 3-2 win with an excellent strike (50).

It means that the Barcelona managed to land a psychological blow ahead of the La Liga season, in front of a packed Miami crowd.

Success Indicator?

Real Madrid will be using this match as preparation for the Spanish Super Cup, where they will face old rivals Barcelona again.

This will be a tough season for Los Blancos, who have huge expectations on them after an incredible 2016/17 season.

Their pre season form hasn't been good, with back to back defeats against Manchester City and Barcelona.

They are in this final after becoming the first side in history to win back to back Champions League titles.

Real Heavy Favourites

Zidane's men go into this match as favourites, and will see this as an ideal opportunity to land some early silverware.

Los Blancos have already been beaten by United in pre season, albeit in a penalty shootout defeat.

Real Madrid hold the advantage in head to heads, beaten United twice in four matches.

United In Great Form

Jose Mourinho's side come into this match in great form, having lost just one pre season fixture against Barcelona thus far.

They come into this match on the back of a 2-1 win against Sampdoria, with Nemanja Matic making his United debut.

Henrik Mkhitaryan opened the scoring (9), with the Armenian scoring his third goal of pre season.

Despite controlling large parts of the game United did concede, with Dennis Praet (63) setting up a tense finale.

Juan Mata stepped up to score the winner (81), with the Spaniard scoring the decisive goal nine minutes from time.

Ultimately it was an excellent pre-season run out for United, another impressive win for the Red Devils.

Season Starts

Manchester United finished the season in sixth, but it is their Europa League win that has given them the chance to win this early season cup.

This is another excellent calibre of fixture for United, but with the new season just five days later the timing could have been better.

They have had an excellent pre season, their only defeat has been a narrow 1-0 loss at the hands of Barcelona.

United Underdogs

Manchester United come into this match as the underdogs, they face a formidable Los Blancos outfit.

United did beat them in pre season, but Real have the firepower and class in terms of personnel to easily win this match.

Mourinho will be looking to put one over on his old employers and secure the first silverware of the season for United.

United are 14/5 with Romelu Lukaku at 6/1 to open the scoring.
