November Results

November was another profitable month under some tough conditions and we managed to make a little over 14 points profit for the month. This takes our overall total since the beginning of July to 90 points profit, which averages out at 18 points a month. The National Hunt season is really starting to kick into gear now so there will be plenty of chances to continue this good form alongside our football and other sports selections.

Capital One Cup

Three of the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup take place tonight and in all three it pits Premier League teams against Championship opposition. Manchester City host Championship high flyers Hull, and if the previous rounds are anything to go by, I expect Pellegrini to name a very strong team. Sergio Aguero came off midway through the second half on Saturday after taking a knock on his heel so it is doubtful he will play. Wilifred Bony is back fit again so I expect him to start, and along with Sterling and De Bruyne they should have too much firepower for the Championship side.

Everton travel to Middlesborough who currently sit in second place in the Championship. The Premier League team don't have another game until the following Monday so there is nothing stopping them from naming a strong team which I fully expect Martinez to do. It has been over twenty years since Everton last won a trophy and this represents a great chance to do so. However, Middlesborough have the firepower to really hurt Everton and I like their chances of snatching a narrow win here tonight.

Stoke host Sheffield Wednesday who are eighth in the Championship table and are another side who are more than capable of causing an upset. Stoke's form has been patchy at best this season and they were beaten by lowly Sunderland at the weekend. Ryan Shawcross was red carded in that game which means he will be missing tonight through suspension which could leave the Potters a little short at the back. I think Wednesday have a good chance of causing an upset here at a nice price.

Lingfield 13:30

Sirop De Menthe for Sue Gardner is shooting up the weights due to some impressive displays but such was his manner of victory last time out at Lingfield in similar conditions to today, I don't think an extra seven pounds will be enough to stop him. Today's field doesn't appear to be as strong as last week and he won by an eased down 12 lengths so there appears to be plenty more to come from this exciting five year old.

Today's Selections
