England suffered the disappointment of conceding a late equaliser against Russia on Saturday and they will know it is extremely important to get the win here to ensure smooth progress into the knockout stages. Although they played some nice football I still have the feeling they lack enough goalscorers on the pitch and would hope that one of Jamie Vardy or Daniel Sturridge come into the side to day to add to the attacking threat.
Wales looked very solid and organised against what look like a limited Slovakia team and they won it late on with a nice finish from Robson-Kanu. I can see them sitting fairly deep and looking to hit England on the counter attack using the pace and strength of Gareth Bale. If Wales get that right then Bale has the abilities to cause a poor looking England defence a lot of problems.
I actually think this game has come at a good time for Roy Hodgson and England as they really need a performance today, which I think they will deliver. If they can get an early goal it will make Wales open up and then we will be able to see the difference in class between the two teams. Due to this I like the look of England on the handicap as I can see them getting a few goals if they are on song.
