Champions League
Roma host Real Madrid in the first leg of this second round and it has the makings of a good tie.
Roma currently sit in fourth place in Serie A and look out of the title race. Their form has been pretty average as they were expected to be challenging for the title this season so fans will be disappointed. Madrid are having an equally average season and have already replaced Benitez with club legend Zinedine Zidane.
Madrid do quite often save their best performances for the Champions League however and I expect them to progress to the quarter finals reasonably comfortably. Due to their poor form we can obtain better than normal prices on a Madrid win in Rome than we would normally be able to. They are best price 5/6 for the win which I think is pretty reasonable, however due to their shaky defence I like the bet of a Madrid win and both teams to score. Madrid always have plenty of goals in them with the attacking talent they are able to put out, and Roma will definitely fancy their chances of scoring at least once given the vulnerability of Madrid at the back.

17:05 Musselburgh
The Lucinda Russell trained Selkirk's Island has had just the two runs so far, both in bumpers, and has recorded second and third placed finishes. Last time out at Carlisle it was far too heavy going for her and it was a reasonable performance to finish third. Prior to that she was beaten only by a neck at Ayr and the winner of that race has subsequently run very well to finish fifth in a hot looking Class 1 bumper at Cheltenham.
She doesn't appear to have too much to beat here today and I fully expect her to be far too strong for her four rivals and record her first win before going hurdling where she has the ability to be a good horse to follow.
