14:00 Fakenham

This is a novices' hurdle over nearly three miles and it is a wide open contest.

Road To Freedom has been chasing but it has not appeared to his liking having fallen and unseated on his past two starts. He reverts back to hurdles today and he won a three mile novices' hurdle at Southwell last year. He has a penalty for that win so he will need to be at the top of his game to take this today.

Oliver Sherwoon runs Weststreet and he also has a penalty to carry as he won over this distance and class at Southwell two runs ago. He was fortunate to win that day when the very easy leader jinked to the right and unseated it's rider on the run in. His run last time out was a reasonable effort in a class 3 novices' hurdle finishing third behind a couple of good horses. He is another who is going to need to be spot on though if he is to carry the extra weight around here to victory.

Girly Girl for Dan Skelton won two races on the spin before finding the step up to Listed company too much for her on her latest start at Taunton. That race was over two miles and on really heavy ground, so today's going and much further distance will be to her liking I feel and the mares allowance she gets will be hugely beneficial. Bridget Andrews takes the ride today and takes a further five pounds off so I think she will be extremely difficult to peg back assuming she does stay as far as this and she looks a really nice bet.
