This is a two mile handicap chase which has quite an open look about it on first glance.

Money For Nothing was extremely consistent last season when running for Alan King as he posted second placed finishes in each of his last four runs. He has since moved stables to Harriet Bethall and she will be hoping to get his head in front. His last of those second places came over two and a half miles and I get the impression that is more his distance. I think today's outing will be used to get a run into him, as he has been off the track for 200 days, and then step up in distance. Therefore I can see him getting outpaced and not being able to go with them when it matters.

Sportsreport has won a couple of chases over two miles on heavy going. He did finish second last time out two miles at Worcester on ground similar to today's, however that was a weaker looking race and he has been raised three pounds for that effort.

Snowell switches between hurdles and chases quite often which is not usually a good sign and he hasn't been in the winners enclosure since March last year. It is hard to see him doing so today against this opposition.

Be On Time began his career in France before moving to the yard of Jamie Snowden. He won at the first time of asking at Worcester two weeks ago and looks good to go in again here today. He has been raised five pounds for his win but he will have learnt a lot from that race and due to the four year old's allowance he is bottom weight although he has the highest handicap rating. The second placed horse at Worcester has gone on to win very comfortably which franks the form so it is hard to see Be On Time being far away today and he looks the stand out bet.

Capital One Cup

Liverpool are at home to a Bournemouth side that are desperately struggling with injuries and are on the back two 5-1 defeats in the league. Due to their injury situation they are sure to make changes and Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already stated this is a game he wants to win as much as any other. Both Christian Benteke and Roberto Firmino came off the bench against Southampton on Sunday and are in line to start tonight which will give Liverpool much better attacking options.

The match odds are unsurprisingly skinny on Liverpool but the half time / full time and handicap markets are worth play as I think this could be a comfortable evening for the reds.
