  2. G’day cobbers..

Had a spare few mins last night and looked over some racing for Wednesday morning.. as follows:

    Sandown Hillside

    Wednesday 12/06/13

    Race 1:

    Best speed: Samarmeteors; Minaj.

    Best recent speed: Samarmeteors.

    1 Samarmeteors
    2 Minaj
    3 New York Rain

Samarmeteors heads speed categories & hardest to beat.

    Race 2:

Best speed: Hard Romp; Navorina; Agulhas.

Best recent speed: Navorina; Hard Romp; Manna Gum.

    1 Navorina
    2 Hard Romp
    3 Agulhas
    4 Fight To The Line
    5 Manna Gum

Nothing went right for Navorina last time at Caulfield & returning from a freshen she gets into this with no weight on a track where she produced career best speedfigures. Hard Romp & Agulhas look dangers.

    Race 6:

Best speed: Weekend Special; Flash Of Doubt & Johnnydrama.

Best recent speed: Awaken The Dragon; Sandusky City; Tap In Birdie.

    1 Flash Of Doubt
    2 Awaken The Dragon
    3 Weekend Special
    4 Sandusky City
5 Oamaru Rose / Tap In Birdie

Flash Of Doubt inexplicably failed first up when she never ran on. Much better than that & if she returns to anywhere her best she will prove hardest to beat.

    Race 7:

Best speed: Loot’n’Run; Midnight Glory; Luckyi’mbarefoot.

Best recent speed: Loot’n’Run; Bellissimo; Triple Tee.

    1 Loot’n’Run
    2 Bellissimo
    3 Triple Tee
    4 Luckyi’mbarefoot
    5 Darlimurla Star

Loot’n’Run interrupted winning sequence when unplaced last start – and was unsuited by firm ground/attacked for lead/ and had the thumps. Can bounce back here. Bellissimo good in conditions & better suited here.

    Warwick Farm.

    12/06/13

    Race 3:

Best speed: Rastro; Omniscient; Texan Lad.

Best recent speed: Rastro; Omniscient; Texan Lad.

    1 Rastro
    2 Omniscient
    3 Texan Lad
    4 Mount Nebo
    5 Shivarchi

Rastro broke through for deserved win last start. Can go on with it now.

    Race 5:

Best speed: My Sabeel; Radar; Next The Universe.

Best recent speed: Next The Universe. Xatel Ekwa; Holy Delusions.

    1 My Sabeel
    2 Next The Universe
    3 Xatel Ekwa
    4 Radar
    5 Dublette

My Sabeel best career speed & with blinkers on first time, a step up in distance, and wet track – she looks hard to beat. Next The Universe gets into a winnable race and is a danger.

    Race 7:

Best speed: Namsarai; Diamond Jim; Zauberfloote.

Best recent speed: Mezzanotte; Namsarai; Animoso.

    1 Animoso
    2 Mezzanotte
    3 Namsarai
    4 Too Hi Tek
    5 Zauberflote / Shanghai Bund

Animoso lightly raced with scope for improvement perhaps ahead of Mazzanotte (best recent speed)

Good Luck & please bet responsibly 🙂

  6. G’day cobbers..

A few selections for Eagle Farm for tomorrow morning.. don’t forget to dutch the Top 2.. oh and also it’s EARLY HOURS, set your alarm folks 😉

    Saturday 08/06/13

    Race 3:

Best speed: Academus; Oasis Rose; Jimando

Best recent speed: Academus; Platinum Kingdom; Impetuous.

    1 Academus
    2 Oasis Rose
    3 Platinum Kingdom
    4 Impetuous / Limes
    5 Liliburlero / Lucky Hussler

Doubt that Academus was very comfortable on wet track last start when he looked to be dropping out before charging home again. A drying track & 1600 metres look ideal. Oasis Rose with her huge NZ speedfigures could provide an upset, finally getting into a more suitable event.

    Race 5:

Best speed: Red Tracer; Sharnee Rose; Steps In Time; Fire Up Fifi.

Best recent speed: Red Tracer; Sharnee Rose; Steps In Time; Fire Up Fifi.

    1 Perfectly Stunning
    2 Sharnee Rose
    3 Red Tracer
    4 Steps In Time
    5 Fire Up Fifi

Sticking with the order of best recent speed – apart from one horse: Perfectly Stunning. Still believe she is extremely progressive & her 1st up run was full of merit. Huge field in G2 Race and the pace will be on all the way. From barrier 3 Perfectly Stunning gets back & has cover. Luck will play a part – but if the gaps come this lightly raced mare can reel off very quick sectionals. Sharnee Rose a career best performance last start & one of many dangers.

    Race 8:

Best speed: Your Song; Solzhenitsyn; Buffering & Spirit Song.

Best recent speed: Your Song; Hot Snitzel; Epaulette; Streama; Belltone.

    1 Buffering
    2 Belltone
    3 Your Song
    4 Hot Snitzel
    5 Epaulette / Sizzling

The timing looks positive for Buffering in this. Nice draw in the big field & may find favours this time instead of pressure. His peak speedfigures come from 1350m on a dead rated track so that looks similar to conditions for this. Lots of heavy track recent speed with subsequent flops. Hard to assess reliability under different conditions. An upset chance is Belltone, (stablemate of Sizzling) who is underrated & flying this campaign. Great draw to stalk speed & he could surprise a few.

  7. G’day Cobbers,

Jason was kindly going to sort a page link out for my Aussie Tips, I’ve no news on this, may have something to do with the malware attack a few weeks back, anyway apologies for this and I’ll get Jason back on to it, we have here selections for this Saturdays racing, don’t forget dutch the top 2 and it early hours Saturday Morning..

    Flemington

    Saturday 08/06/13

    Race 1:

Best recent speed: Lady Lakshmi; Gracious Prospect; Celeritas.

    1 Lady Lakshmi
    2 Gracious Prospect
    3 Celeritas
    4 Corporate Takeover
    5 Clairvaux

Lady Lakshmi heads speed categories & impressed returning from spell after contesting stakes-races in the spring. Gracious Prospect very good effort last start & deserves a breakthrough win.

    Race 2:

Best speed: Coins; Forever Crazy; Mareeza.

Best recent speed: Coins; Mareeza; Catered.

    1 Coins
    2 Mareeza
    3 Catered
    4 Lonhruge / Ava’s Delight
5 Forever Crazy / Our Celladoor

Coins heads both speed categories. Tons of weight – but good draw from the awkward 1400m start at Flemington is an offset. Looks hardest to beat.

    Race 3:

Best speed: Maythehorsebemagic; Aggregator; Crafty Cruiser.

Best recent speed: Shiny Buttons; Altonio; Cooldini.

    1 Shiny Buttons
    2 Altonio
    3 Cooldini
    4 Aggregator / Crafty Cruiser
5 Readings / Black And Bent

Where’s the fences? Pretty much a Jumper’s Flat apart from a (very) few. Shiny Buttons has best recent speed & comes off a series of consistent runs.

    (more to follow..)

  8. Horse Racing Selections (Continued..)

    Race 4:

Best recent speed: She Can Skate; Words Are Weapons; Maurizio; Spending

    1 Mister John
    2 She Can Skate
    3 Spending
    4 So Wotif
    5 Edgewood

    (more to follow..)

  9. Horse Racing Selections (Continued..)

    Race 5:

Best speed: Gybe; Vain Attraction; Koe; Dayita.

Best recent speed: Koe; Orlando’s Bride; Her Diamond Rock; Girls On Film.

    1 Koe
    2 Girls On Film
    3 Orlando’s Pride
    4 Gybe
5 Her Diamond Rock / Dayita

Koe looks much improved this campaign & has best recent speed. Had Girls On Film as recommended horse last week – and though speed figures can’t push her into that category in this race, I do feel she has tons of upside. Can support both mares in this I would think in what looks to be a wide betting race.

    (more to follow..)

  10. Horse Racing Selections (Continued..)

    Flemington

    Saturday 08/06/13

    Race 6:

Best speed: Gold Medals; Prince Jester; Stars In The Sky; Star Rolling.

Best recent speed: Gold Medals; Prince Jester; Star Rolling; Backstedt.

    1 Star Rolling
    2 Prince Jester
    3 Gold Medals
    4 Backstedt
    5 Whitten’s Delight / Magniloquent

Tough race. Excuses can be had for top few in speed data: Gold Medals not running Derby trip & Prince Jester not handling Rosehill heavy. Looking around those to inexperienced, progressive horse in Star Rolling (3rd best recent speed) who thrashed rivals over 1600m at Wodonga producing good speed figures. Very importantly, he put huge margins through those behind him: 3.5 lengths to 2nd; 7 lengths tho 3rd; 8.3 lengths to 4th, etc. Big step up from Maiden to this but seems to be headed in right direction.

    Race 7:

Best speed: General Truce; Planet Voyage; Perturbo; Broken.

Best recent speed: General Truce; Planet Voyage; Rifleman; El Magico.

    1 El Magico
    2 Planet Voyage
    3 General Truce
    4 Serene Star / Rifleman
5 Big Buddie / Belfast Boy

El Magico has nice speed figures through unlucky run last start when resuming at Morphettville. Gets thrown in at the weights & has good stalking draw. Dangers come from the smart duo of Planet Voyage & General Truce.

    Race 8:

Best speed: Wall Street; By The Way; Storm Burst (2000m); Under The Hat (1700m); Extra Zero.

Best recent speed: That’s The One; Goldslick; Felidea; Bellissimo.

    1 That’s The One
    2 Extra Zero
    3 Goldslick
    4 Felidea
    5 By The Way

That’s The One has best recent speed & no luck last time in good speed event. Deserves a win. Upset could come from Extra Zero who goes okay 2nd up & over the Flem 1400m. Ideal draw gives him a good chance.

  11. forget immediate below post it was a repeat of the latter half of racing for Randwick, apologies for this.. sorry

  12. Horse Racing Selections (Continued..)

    Flemington

    Saturday 08/06/13

    Race 5:

Best speed: Permit; Vatuvei; Sky Raider.

Best recent speed: Permit; Unchain My Heart; Thubiaan; Sky Raider.

    1 Permit
    2 Unchain My Heart
    3 Thubiaan
    4 Sky Raider / Vatuvei
5 Piazza San Pietro / The Offer

Hard to approach this race with a great deal of confidence. Drier track suits Permit & speed figures still give him the nod in a tricky race.

    Race 6:

Best speed: Neeson; Rarefied; Upshot; Skytrain.

Best recent speed: Rarefied; Upshot; Embark; Big Bonanza.

    1 Rarefied
    2 Big Bonanza
    3 Upshot
    4 Embark / Skytrain
    5 She’s Clean / Neeson

Rarefied suited by an improving track & hardest to beat. Big Bonanza likely to cross & shadow Zaratone & is still underrated. Can surprise. Upshot likely to appreciate good tempo in this & be another danger. Good chances to Embark, Skytrain, She’s Clean & Neeson.

    Race 7:

Best speed: Yulalona; Gazza Guru; Kaypers; Coliseo.

Best recent speed: Kaypers; Coliseo (2400m); Destiny’s Kiss; Double Halo.

    1 Kaypers
    2 Destiny’s Kiss
    3 Coliseo
    4 Lucripetous
5 Prince Of Capers / Double Halo

Kaypers has best recent speed from last start when (back again) over this trip.

    Race 8:

Best speed: Under The Sun; Samui Lad; Brian’s Honour; Agister.

Best recent speed: Under The Sun; Brian’s Honour; Agister.

    1 Pipette
    2 Under The Sun
    3 Brian’s Honour
    4 Agister
5 Coup Ay Tee / Samui Lad

Speed in this looks likely to advantage improving imported mare, Pipette. Dangers likely to come from Under The Sun & Brian’s Honour.

    Race 9:

Best speed: Amaethon; Bello; Zedi Knight; Club Command.

Best recent speed: Amaethon; Bello; Zedi Knight; Club Command

    1 Club Command
    2 Amaethon
    3 Zedi Knight
    4 Bello
    5 Pago Rock

Had selected Club Command in practically the same ‘abandoned race’ from last week. Would even think the straight 1200m would be ideal for this style of 1400m horse. Amaethon’s speedfigures won’t allow you to ignore him – and Zedi Knight is going very well again. Bello would go very close if any rain fell.

    Race 10:

Best speed: Imoto; Gail; Westsouthwest; Me Hungi.

Best recent speed: Imoto; Me Hungi; Gail.

    1 Imoto
    2 Me Hungi
    3 Gail
    4 Fulgur
5 Micken / The New Boy

Imoto heads the speed figures & looks a very progressive mare headed places. Me Hungi was a recommended horse last start & just missed placing. Also lightly raced & very progressive I could see him causing an upset from very good draw.

  13. I’m looking over another meeting at the moment and pondering over whether to post, I’ll keep you posted, bit busy today, may not be ’til tomorrow (Friday), more selections for Saturday.. see below 🙂

  14. Randwick

    Saturday the 08/06/13.

    Race 1:

Best speed: Everage; Bernabeu; Sweet Serendipity.

Best recent speed: Everage; Bernabeu; Sweet Serendipity.

    1 Bernabeu
    2 Everage
    3 Sweet Serendipity
    4 Northern Glory
    5 Mamwaazel

Everage is a filly we would all love to own – never further back than 2nd from 7 starts & over $250k in prize-money. But really like the debut of Bernabeu who looked lost on heavy ground when 4th at his 1st outing. Likely big improver.

    Race 2:

Best speed: Madam Nash; Sweet Talkin Woman; Ireland’s Teardrop.

Best recent speed: Sweet Talkin Woman; Ireland’s Teardrop; Lysistrata.

    1 Sweet Talkin Woman
    2 Lysistrata
    3 Ireland’s Teardrop
    4 Madam Nash
5 Kim Dynasty / Trick Shot

Low speed values makes this a tricky affair.

    Race 3:

Best speed: Chewychop; Sir Berus; Single Style.

Best recent speed: Chewychop; Masahiko; Sir Berus.

    1 Chewychop
    2 Masahiko
    3 Sir Berus
4 Single Style / Hunter Jack
    5 Red Excitement

Chewychop heads speed categories & lot to like about his progression.

    Race 4:

Best speed: Eminent Domain; Turf Hero; Deceiver; Falzzon.

Best recent speed: Eminent Domain; Oakfield Command; Falzzon; Hendricus.

    1 Eminent Domain
    2 Oakfield Command
    3 Falzzon
    4 Hendricus
    5 Deceiver

A litany of excuses for the failure by Eminent Domain last start. Blessed with a ton of ability – but an equal amount of problems – he is the one to beat if on his game.

I’m looking over another meeting at the moment and pondering over whether to post, I’ll keep you posted, bit busy today, may not be ’til tomorrow, (Friday) 🙂

  17. Hello there Tah Darko,

Good Morning and thank you for your question, yes, take for example the first race for Caulfied for the early hours of tomorrow, (Saturday) morning, see below..

    Caulfield

    Saturday 25/05/13

    Race 1:

    1 Epic Choice
    2 Explosive Cross
    3 Triquetra
    4 Virenque / Giddyup Kirky
    5 Bridie O’Reilly

I dutch the Top 2, one point on each – to win on the top 2 horses, which in this case are Epic Choice and Explosive Cross, personally I stake £10 on each to win, personally I do that on every Top 2 Rated in every race.

I place my bets on Betfair at BSP to win, for example..

    Caulfield:

    Race 1:

1 Epic Choice ($10 to win)
2 Explosive Cross ($10 to win)

    Race 2:

    1 Polanski ($10 to win)
2 Eagle Island ($10 to win)

.. and so on, but please only bet what you can afford to lose.

    Please bet responsibly 🙂

    Caulfield

    Saturday 25/05/13

    Race 1:

    1 Epic Choice
    2 Explosive Cross
    3 Triquetra
    4 Virenque / Giddyup Kirky
    5 Bridie O’Reilly

Restricted race with limited data across what is mostly moderate provincial performances. Epic Choice was a recommended horse when he failed (no luck in running) at Flemington. Is 3rd emergency but likely to prove hard to beat if he gains a start. Explosive Cross is a lightly raced 3yo filly who keeps running on strongly in her races & is likely to be suited by the 2000m trip. Danger.

    Race 2:

    1 Polanski
    2 Eagle Island
    3 I’m An Outoftowner
    4 Celeritas
    5 Solo Saga

2yo races with only limited speed data. Polanski has best recent speed from last start win. Eagle Island won Listed Race on debut in Adelaide and is a danger.

    Race 3:

    1 Verdant
    2 Shiny Buttons
    3 Finiguerra
    4 Devised
5 Coup Acclaim / Red Eye Special

Verdant heads the speed categories & was much improved last start when ridden more conservatively & he ran home well for 2nd to Whisper Downs in strong speed event. Shiny Buttons has 2nd best recent speed and is racing very consistently. Danger. Finiguerra & Devised are good chances.

    Race 4:

    1 Scapolo
    2 Ossenhagen
    3 Primitive Man
    4 Liberty Rock
    5 Royal Rada / Motific

Scapolo heads the speed categories. Huge win in NZ last start & he has an impressive resume on rain affected ground. Has not been too bad on good ground either – and it’s likely that he has come back for this campaign as a much improved horse. Drawn wide but will work across to either lead or stalk the speed. Ossenhagen with 2nd best recent speed, coming off a big last start win, looks a danger – as does Primitive Man who impressed with a come-from-last win here at his last start.

    Race 5:

    1 Elite Elle
    2 Spending
    3 Innocent Hero
    4 Falcent
5 So Wotif / Hard Romp

Race with a some depth. Elite Elle heads the speed categories (she has multiple entries among top performances). Can cross in her own time from wide gate & the 1100m should suit. Spending looked very good on debut – but lost her way thereafter. Resumes here & from good gate she likely plays a factor late. Innocent Hero has 2nd best recent speed coming off an impressive debut. Good chances to Falcent, SoWotif & Hard Romp.

    Race 6:

    1 Umgeton
    2 Zedi Knight
    3 Winter King
    4 Alpha Proxima
    5 Basil Da Man / God’s Window

Umgeton has best recent speed & right back to her career best speedform. In a race where many of her rivals are either struggling for, or mixing their form, she appears to have reached a peak. Zedi Knight (2nd best recent speed) is a big danger. Was going very well – albeit mostly without luck – before his failure at G1 in Adelaide. Winter King still has best career speedfigures for this race but has yet to display same for his new trainer.

    Race 7:

    1 Classy Chloe
    2 You Can Dance
    3 Bonnie Mac
4 Serene Star / Vibrant Rouge
    5 Gybe

Tons of chances. Classy Chloe has best career speed & 3rd best recent speed. Fought on well in good speed event in SA last start & it appears as though it has taken racing to get her back to near her peak. Great record at Caulfield (only time unplaced she went to line untested) & can spring a surprise. You Can Dance has best recent speed & is a danger. Good chances to Bonnie Mac (2nd best recent speed) , Serene Star, Vibrant Rouge & Gybe.

    Race 8:

    1 Coins
    2 Forever Crazy
    3 Nautical
    4 Big Chill / Lonhruge
    5 Keyarna Blue / Mama’s Choice

Coins heads the speed categories. Certainly had no luck past 2 starts following easy win at Flemington & has raced wide both times. From an inside draw she most likely would be much too good for this field – but drawing barrier 20 of 20 makes it ‘interesting’ to say the least. If she finds any luck in running she is still the one to beat. It’s up to Vlad.

    Race 9:

    1 Strawberry Boy
    2 Good Value
    3 Under The Eiffel
    4 Oregon Spirit
    5 The New Boy

Strawberry Boy has best recent speed* and resumed impressively. Good Value with 2nd best recent speed has a good 2nd up record and is a danger. Under TheEiffel looks well suited from inside draw & Oregon Spirit no luck off slow tempo last time – both must be respected.

    Randwick

    Saturday 25/05/13

    Race 1:

    1 Everage
    2 Dowdstown Charlie
    3 Wouldn’t It Be Nice
    4 Goldclip
    5 Knight Templar

Everage has a peak speed performance on heavy ground & conditions look set to suit here.

    Race 2:

    1 Oompa Loompa
    2 Ashamar
    3 Destiny Rising
    4 Secret Delight
    5 Harada Bay

Oompa Loompa has best recent speed, is racing in peak speed form, and handles wet ground. Ashamar & Destiny Rising loom as the dangers.

    Race 3:

    1 Prince Jester
    2 Queenstown
    3 Airtime
    4 Sir Denzel
    5 Richie’s Bickies

Prince Jester has 2nd best recent speed (see additional pdf- Prince Jester & Airtime) and very impressive winner last start. Queenstown heads the speed categories – but is unknown on wet ground.

    Race 4:

    1 Motivado
    2 Permit
    3 Strike The Stars
    4 Sky Raider
    5 Vatuvei / Fiumicino

Motivado has 2nd best recent speed and does appear to be very progressive. Permit heads the speed categories & is the danger.

    Race 5:

    1 Potions
    2 Cuddlesome
    3 Elfina
    4 Gullible / Quizzed
    5 Zauberflote

Potions heads the speed categories by way of her 3rd to Eminent Domain on a heavy track when resuming. All of her data (some very good) centres around racing on wet tracks. Can surprise back to conditions that suit. Cuddlesome & Elfina loom as obvious dangers.

    Race 6:

    1 Shamus
    2 Hurrara
    3 She’s Clean
    4 Dee’n’Gee / Gasquet
5 Turf Hero / Earnest Ernest

Shamus with 2nd best recent speed gets into this with no weight & does have wins on both slow & heavy ground. Hurrara has best speed on wet ground & will take a lot of catching. She’s Clean good on wet ground & great record fresh.

    Race 7:

    1 Eminent Domain
    2 Radar
    3 Eucumbene
    4 Deceiver
    5 Hendricus

Eminent Domain heads speed categories after brilliant last start win. Prepared to think that barrier 22 (19 after the emergencies come out) not such a disaster on a wet track. Very impressive 4yo with a ton of potential.

    Race 8:

    1 Snitsky
    2 Balavan
    3 Under The Sun
    4 Merlin Mustang
    5 Hidden Warrior / Forarainyday

Snitsky heads the speed categories & gets in nicely at weights after the claim. Won 2 from 3 on heavy ground – only once unplaced at the trip – and winner his only try at track & trip. Race with lots of depth & Balavan, Under The Sun & Merlin Mustang, all loom as strong chances.

    Saturday 18/05/13

    Race 1

    1 Dalton
    2 Calcatta
    3 Menage A Charge
    4 Idol Factor

I dutch one point on Dalton & one point on Calcutta, both to win, I don’t bother with places etc

Gutted about that double, Gasguet played well in his previous match and was unlucky in the second set, lost in tie-break and lost a crucial game point in third set..

  30. Andy I use betfair , on the Halep game can only get 0ver 21.5 games at odds 1.73. Where did u place bet ? Tks

  31. more Tennis selections for today..

  32. Horse Racing Selections for this weekend, early hours Sat am don’t forget.. dutch the Top 2 in every race..

    Flemington

    Saturday 18/05/13

    Race 1

    1 Dalton
    2 Calcatta
    3 Menage A Charge
    4 Idol Factor

Dalton heads the speed categories coming off a placing behind Moparee last start. Calcatta is a last-start winner in Listed Race in Adelaide and is the danger. Menage A Charge likely to be a big improver.

    Race 2:

    1 Floatmyboat
    2 Right To Roam
    3 Royal Island
    4 Electric Fusion
    5 Bradman / About Square

Floatmyboat has best recent speed & racing well (without luck) apart from last start failure over longer trip. Good draw & distance suits. Right To Roam erratic but talented and a big danger. Good chances to Royal Island & Electric Fusion.

    Race 3:

    1 Vain Queen
    2 Prettyhappyaboutit
    3 Kamarla Rose
    4 Formidable
5 Bloomingdale Miss / Return Journey

The undefeated Vain Queen heads the speed categories for this. Prettyhappyaboutit (2nd best recent speed) probably exposed a bit early down the straight track when a last start failure & change of jockey may be significant. Good chances to Kamarla Rose & Formidable.

    Race 4:

    1 Lidari
    2 Verdant
    3 Whisper Downs
    4 Auld Burns
    5 Secessio

Lidari has best recent speed & can only be expected to improve further with racing. Verdant has lots of ability but has been labelled as “not genuine” by his jockey of last start, Michael Walker. Hurdle trial may have sharpened him up. Big chance if he puts in. Good chances to Whisper Downs & Auld Burns.

    Race 5:

    1 Loot’n’Run
    2 Le Remas
    3 Goldslick
4 Lethal Arrow / Another Prelate
    5 Dayita

Loot’n’Run heads both speed categories – but a major reference point is that all of his speed performances have been on wet ground. Obviously not as good on dry ground – but then again he’s never been in this vein of great form before either. Another tricky factor is the inclusion in field of Le Remas. Has not led past 3 starts & has not been a factor (brilliant winning record when he does lead). From wide gate they must push on & try to lead this time. Tempo looks good given that prospect – with both top2 horses preferring to race right on the speed.. Would still really like the chances of Loot’n’Run on a wet track – and even a reasonably forgiving dead rated track may be enough.

    Race 6:

    1 Escado
    2 Altonio
    3 Pretty Adamant
4 Compound / Unchain My Heart
5 Thubiaan / Stand To Gain

Escado heads the speed categories. Won SA Derby last start although now over longer (3200m) trip against open age & with an awkward draw. Improving young stayer so he can prove hard to beat again. But a very tricky race (as it always is).

    Race 7:

    1 Perfectly Stunning
    2 That’s The One
    3 Mister Milton
    4 Title / Bellissimo
    5 Johannapine

Was impressed by the improvement displayed by Perfectly Stunning over summer/early autumn. Looks a mare who could progress further and noting that her peak speed performance to date came first up last campaign. The straight 1200m should suit. Good chance to cause an upset. That’s The One has best recent speed and is racing very well again (post op & spell). Big danger. Mister Milton has 2nd best recent speed & his last (impressive) effort was a welcome return to form. Good chances to Title, Bellissimo & Johannapine.

    Race 8:

    1 Me Hungi
    2 Gail
    3 Fulgur
    4 Full Hand / Tigerland
    5 Eraset

Very interesting race that sees the lightly raced Me Hungi with best recent speed. Has had a 9 week let-up, but is still classified as being in his first preparation. With 5 wins from 9 starts he has come a long way since his first start in November. Can keep improving and take this out. Flemington specialist Gail is a big danger – and good chances to Fulgur, Full Hand, Tigerland & Eraset.

    Scone 18/05/13

    Race 1:

    1 Mulaqen
    2 Our Girl Charlize
    3 Instrumentalist
    4 Blak Jag
    5 Emeritus

Mulaqen heads the speed categories for this & has been a model of consistency since arriving in Australia. Hard to beat again.

    Race 2:

    1 Fireball
    2 Master Gaze
    3 Youthful King
    4 Agent
    5 Spellbinding / Lyric

Fireball has very strong career speed. Defeated good field at Muswellbrook last start & will go close again. Master Gaze has best career speed (3rd best recent speed) & will take catching.

    Race 3:

    1 Mineko
    2 Mamwaazel
    3 Fairyland
    4 Tweet
    5 Shebrings Diamonds

Not much disclosed speed data here. Mineko perhaps from Mamwaazel.

    Race 4:

    1 Magondo
    2 She’s A Stalker
    3 No Looking Back
    4 Diamond Earth
    5 Genteel / Omniscient

Really interesting race. Speed data throws up a very interesting one in Magondo, an underrated filly by the Chilean sire, Trotamondo. Unfashionable stable & jockey will add further to doubts about her in this field, but Magondo did begin her career against Agueda, Longport, etc., and she has been impressive this campaign (even allowing for unusual training regime – 3 starts in 15 days). Lots of depth, but she offers great value given her strong speedfigures. She’s A Stalker & No Looking back obvious dangers.

    Race 5:

    1 Riva De Lago
    2 Fontelina
    3 Decision Time
    4 Skytrain
    5 Agister / Hidden Warrior

Riva De Lago has 2nd best recent speed (off a winning performance) and there have been excuses for subsequent two 2nd placings. Off a freshen and over a track & distance that he likes, he becomes a preferred option here. Fontelina some big speed returns from unplaced runs in top speed events. Can threaten. Good chances to Decision Time & Skytrain.

    Race 6:

    1 City Of Song
    2 Miss Stellabelle
    3 Potions
    4 Plucky Belle
    5 Soft Sand

City Of Song has 2nd best recent speed & has improved markedly this campaign. Now in the Bjorn Baker stable & comes into this off an impressive trial win. Miss Stellabelle is a danger – while Potions (best recent speed), Plucky Belle & Soft Sand are good chances.

    Race 7:

    1 Missy Cummings
    2 Taxmeifyoucan
    3 Ashokan
    4 Flying Snitzel
    5 Ninth Legion / Chewychop

Little Magnus filly Missy Cummings remains undefeated after 3 starts. Has best recent speed & looks the hardest to beat again. Taxmeifyoucan has 2nd best recent speed & is a danger. Good chances to Ashokan & Flying Snitzel.

    Race 8:

    1 Sharnee Rose
    2 I Get Around
    3 Ortensia
    4 Satin Shoes
    5 Anise / Mic Mac

Sharnee Rose – now in Kris Lees stable – has best recent speed. Hard to beat. I Get Around a danger – while Ortensia (in particular) would win if 100% right (even with big weight) & Satin Shoes would go close if anywhere near her best. Interesting, but also very tricky race.

    More to follow soon..

    Gary

  40. strange one Jo, I can’t find the odds to back that one up now.. very odd, I’d scrub that one now

  48. Ok I will try do same I have my pc, iPad, and iPhone that I can have open all at same time. But is it still poss that while going thru odds move against u or does it not take if its not same odds u clicked on.

I have two or three PC’s on the go at any one time so I place the bets near enough simultaneously and I’ll be posting the arbs on here as another part of the service, I have used RebelBetting in the past but found them expansive to use

  51. Tks for that any particular software recommended to find or will,u b sharing your finds on here? Andy how about if by time you go to second bookie odds have moved is it then poss to lose or can that be avoided , if so how?

  52. Jo,

Thanks for your question, it’s impossible to lose money IF you obtain the correct odds, with regards programs I think there’s several out there yes

  53. Interested in learning arbs , greening up , risk free ect , if exist, tks for finding and sharing, time restraints with no software make it nigh impossible. Andy are there programmes that find these arbs, and is it poss to lose money this way ?

  62. hey andy dude arbing interesting field but very time sensitive often only open for a few hours and you need multiple accounts. however 10% return on investment is good if your stake is high enough and if you favour a particular outcome on an event construct the bet to max your profit if that accurs and breakeven on alternative outcomes.
    good to talk barryx
    excellent tennis results dude!

  63. anyone interested if I can come up with some decent arbs? up to 10% profit on some events?, as I type I can lay my hands on the following profits.. 7.5%, 5.0%, 4.5%, 4.1%, 4.1%, 3.9%, 3.8%

  73. As you know Andy, its all about providing consistant results and whilst its still early, your doing well.

Love betting on tennis but I always end a good run with a cruel streak that puts me off for a few weeks. You seem to be doing quite well so it might pay me to follow you.

Aus racing aint everyones cup of tea but if you keep making profits i for one will show alot more interest in it.

    Hope this helps

  74. Barry,

  80. Thanks for the comment Shane, with that I’m not getting much feedback on here.. not many comments, guess it’s too early as the service hasn’t been running for that long.. I would be interested as to how many are following the selections, both the Tennis & the Aussie Racing, any thoughts?, anyone care to comment?

  81. I posted them yesterday snakey..

    Ekaterina Makarova @ 1.57 £20.00
    Pablo Andujar @ 1.61 £20.00
    Yaroslava Shvedova @ 1.50 £20.00 which I think is now void 🙁

  82. G’day cobbers,

Here are the Aussie Horse Racing selections for this Saturday 11th May, don’t forget to dutch the TOP 2 in every race.. well that’s what I do anyway 😉 31.34 points profit last Saturday, three meetings this weekend, a few races at Morphettville & Eagle Farm, & two full cards at Rosehill & Caulfield, lets go Bookie Bashing this weekend guys.. 😉

    Morphettville

11/05/13 Saturday: (DON’T FORGET EARLY HOURS)

    Race 4 Centaurea Stakes:

    1 Lake Sententia
    2 Friday Hussy
    3 Freezy
    4 Notice Received
    5 Secret Liaison / Epingle

Lake Sententia also entered Caulfield. Lake Sententia best career speed & looks well suited now out to her preferred trip. Very good chances Friday Hussy, Freezy & Notice Received.

    Race 5 Laelia Stakes:

    1 Coins
    2 Hazard
    3 Mybenz
    4 Centauraine
    5 Reckless Assassin

Coins with 2nd best recent speed was beaten clearly by Mybenz last start – but simply reverse the position in running & you reverse the result. Meets that horse very well at weights now too. Very hard to beat. The talented Hazard is the danger.

    Race 7 The Goodwood:

    1 Moment Of Change
    2 Platelet
    3 Yosei
    4 Amaethon
    5 General Truce

Moment Of Change heads both speed categories. Much better horse racing anti-clockwise and he will prove exceptionally hard to beat. Platelet (2nd best recent speed) in career best speed form and is a danger.

    Eagle Farm

11/05/13 Saturday: (DON’T FORGET EARLY HOURS)

    Race 7 BTC Cup:

    1 Buffering
    2 Rarefied
    3 Rain Affair
4 Better Than Ready / Spirit Of Boom
    5 Sea Siren

Buffering back on track again after rare run of unplaced performances at end of last campaign. Very good field of sprinters with Rarefied & Rain Affair appearing as likely dangers. Race has lots of depth.

  83. Horse Racing Selections:

    Rosehill

11/05/13 Saturday: (DON’T FORGET EARLY HOURS)

    Race 1:

    1 Drago
    2 Ideal Guide
    3 Artistic Lass
    4 Devil Miss

Drago comes off two 4th placings in G1 events and appeals as the one to beat here. Ideal Guide the danger.

    Race 2:

    1 Amorino
    2 Relaxed And Happy
    3 Ciao
    4 Monbazillac
    5 Oompa Loompa

Amorino has best recent speed after solid 4th in Gosford Guineas last start. Very open race with many chances.

    Race 3:

    1 My Sabeel
    2 Lisa Lost It
    3 Urgent Bells
    4 Anevay
5 Empress Milly / Sweet Little Lies

My Sabeel has best career speed & was flying last campaign. A surprising flop when resuming but can bounce back here. Lisa Lost It has best recent speed.

    Race 4:

    1 Queenstown
    2 Laser Flash
    3 Kim Dynasty
    4 Pharomac
    5 Remorse / Brannickers

Queenstown has best recent speed & was going well before failure behind very good filly last start. Laser Flash looks to be the danger.

    Race 5:

    1 Index Linked
    2 Diamond Jim
    3 Devonshire Duke
    4 Delzera
    5 Mon Soleil

Imported and likes to gallop.. Index Linked has best recent speed from impressive last start win at Lakeside. The one to beat. Diamond Jim backs up after fresh win last Saturday at Newcastle. Interesting that he drops in distance as perhaps he is best suited to races of 1500 -1600m off a fast tempo anyway. Can threaten. Devonshire Duke has 2nd best recent speed & is a strong chance.

    Race 6:

    1 Beaten Up
    2 Hoylonny
    3 Permit
    4 Fibrillation
    5 Court Connection

Speed data looks all over the place here. Leaning to Beaten Up coming off a good 2nd last start to appreciate the extra distance of this. Hoylonny one of the many chances.

    Race 7:

    1 Snitsky
    2 Pampelonne
    3 Under The Sun
    4 War Ends
    5 Altered Boy / Balavan

Snitsky a good winner 2 starts back & then close-up in strong speed event his next start. Down in weights, good barrier, and very good at trip. Pampelonne has best career speed and must be regarded as a big danger even with big weight to carry. Good chances to Under The Sun & War Ends.

    Race 8:

    1 Eminent Domain
    2 Skip Town
    3 Forarainyday
    4 Infinite Energy
5 Earnest Ernest / Key West

Eminent Domain heads the speed categories after very impressive win last start. Likes the pace on so he can charge home & he looks likely to get that here. Appears to have lots of scope. Skip Town is very talented and the main danger.

  84. Horse Racing Selections:

    Caulfield

11/05/13 Saturday: (DON’T FORGET EARLY HOURS)

    Race 1:

    1 Gracious Prospect
    2 Great De Here
    3 Throw The King

With Made Of Ice scratched just the experienced 2yo Gracious Prospect left with any speed credentials. He is the benchmark but very many unknowns in this race.

    Race 2:

    1 Moscow Pearl
    2 Imoto
    3 Orlando’s Bride
    4 Crucial
    5 Manhattan Maid

Moscow Pearl has best recent speed & over-racing last start cost her a win. Outside gate – but no weight after claim & she rolls forward. If she settles this time she will be very hard to beat. Imoto comes through promising run same race and is the big danger.

    Race 3:

    1 Oregon Spirit
    2 Under The Eiffel
    3 The New Boy
    4 Cosmic Causeway
    5 Lucky Penny

Oregon Spirit with best recent speed (and a last start win) looks now to be returning to something like his career best speed figures (these outside of past 24 months). Very even race with dangers coming from Under The Eiffel (best career speed), The New Boy (best recent speed) Cosmic Causeway and Lucky Penny.

    (More to follow..)

  85. Horse Racing Selections: (Continued..)

    Caulfield

11/05/13 Saturday: (DON’T FORGET EARLY HOURS)

    Race 4:

    1 Flamberge **
    2 Saturn Rock
    3 Falcent

Flamberge heads the speed categories & was very unlucky last start this track & trip when wide throughout.

    (More to follow..)

  86. Horse Racing Selections: (Continued..)

    Caulfield

11/05/13 Saturday: (DON’T FORGET EARLY HOURS)

    Race 5:

    1 It Is Written
    2 Vatican
    3 Infinite Energy
    4 Dee Bee Nine
5 Cardinal Virtue / Dream Face

Blowing the start cost It Is Written victory last start after then getting back and failing to get clear running in adequate time. He is having a most productive (long) preparation & will be hard to beat again. Vatican & Infinite Energy appeal as biggest dangers.

    Race 6:

    1 Hamam
    2 Mybenz
    3 Nautical
    4 Explosive Cross
    5 Ephemera / Ava’s Delight

With many in those also engaged in feature race in SA the scratchings will shape this race. Hamam has best recent speed & not much luck recently. MyBenz & Nautical big dangers. Chances to Explosive Cross (no luck last start, Ephemera & Ava’s Delight.

    Race 7:

    1 Lake Sententia
    2 Fulgur
    3 Midsummer Sun
    4 Laspiel
    5 Red Eye Special

Lake Sententia best recent speed (best career speed) & looks well suited now out to her preferred trip. Tempo gave her little hope last start in SA. The import Fulgur will prove hardest to beat. Chances to Midsummer Sun, Laspiel & Red Eye Special.

    Race 8:

    1 Elite Elle
    2 Honey Flower
    3 You Can Dance
    4 Vibrant Rouge
    5 Serene Star / Aneto

Elite Elle some very strong speed performances this campaign & does have best career speed. Can bounce back to winning form. Honey Flower with best recent speed is the huge danger. Racing very well without winning & gets her chance here.

  94. Andy

I hear what your saying when you say it’s less than a £1 a day but you only post racing once a week sometimes twice a week so it is irrelevant what happens for at least 20 days of the month.

    Gary

  95. Tennis selections for tomorrow:

  97. Nice one Pete,

Good to hear you were in on it..

Sorry buddy, but I only get time to knuckle down on Saturday meetings & occasionally midweek.

  98. Hi Andy

I had a few quid on one of your winners from yesterday so thanks for that!! Do you have any tips for today in the 1000 guineas etc

  99. Just a reminder that the cost of the subscription service will be £29 per month, think that works out less than £1 a day, a lot less than some services around, and the Trial ends 1st June

  100. Bernard,

    Thank you for your question

That is another option, however I’ve found that by going level stakes on BSP it make the most of the ‘overlooked’ horses and their prices, for example, I posted the following on Friday..

    Hawkesbury

    Race 8:

    Oakfield Commands
    Agister

Agister Won at 23 BSP 😉

  101. How about if you split your £20 on the 2 selections so that profit the same, if you had £11.43 on a 3.1 and & £8.57 on a 4.1 your profit would be £14.29 no matter which one won.would your profit be more than it was.

  102. Hi Jo,

I don’t bet on every race, on Saturday in Australia there races at the following:

Ballina, Barcaldine, Belmont Park, Benalla, Binnaway, Boorowa, Bundaberg, Flemington, Gold Coast, Hawkesbury, Ipswich, Mackay, Morphettville, Mt Garnet, Newcastle, Pioneer Park, Riccarton Park, Te Rapa, Toowoomba Cushion and Yeppoon.

I just select tracks I have connections with and try and extract as much value I can from them, horses I feel are overpriced in each particular race.

last weekend was profitable +2.25 Points
this weekend was profitable +31.34 Points

$10 staked on every Top 2 Dutched means a profit of $335.90, hope you haven’t missed out? 😉

  103. Andy u still haven’t answered my ? U can’t possibly make money if u bet on every race , so which ones do u bet on is my ? . Craig my ? Is totally different yours was common sense

  104. was a great weekend though results wise 31.34 points on the Horses $313.34 for me (less Betfair Commission) Grrr and a few bucks on the Tennis, just goes you don’t really have to bet every day on UK racing these days, there are other profitable angles if you spend enough time looking for them.

    Kerchingg! 😉

  105. sorry Jo, I missed you last comment with typing last one, with regards the Aussie Ratings I dutch the Top 2 I list every race, that’s selections 1 and 2 for example:

    Morphettville

    Saturday 04/05/13.

    Race 7 South Australian Derby:

    1 Gold Medals
    2 Hvasstan
    3 McNulty
    4 Gerontius / Shoreham
    5 Hioctane

I wagered $10 on Gold Medals to win & $10 on Hvasstan to win, and to win only 😉

  106. looking back over yesterdays results however..

the returns would have been better had Pospisi’s opponent not retired when it was one set all & Pospisi was I think 4-1 up in the final set, and also Denis Kudla won early this morning.. that makes a return of £278.33 from £250, 11% ROI, 18 winners from 25 making a SR of 72% 😉

  107. Fair enough lets see how goes. Andy can u answer my question if u Dutch on every race or do u just Dutch on selected , if so can u put a asterisk on ones u put actual money on . Tks.jo

  108. G’day Jo,

    Thanks for your interest,

You’re quite correct with what you say, I have to be honest and say that I haven’t been keeping records regards P/L on both the Aussie Horses & Tennis, but from the past few days I’m now posting my selections & results on here.. regards the small returns on the Tennis?, this weekend has been pretty poor results wise, a few ‘upsets’ but hey it happens, I will however still post my selections, you will then see the returns.

I can’t say any fairer than that really?

    Thanks for dropping by 🙂

  109. Andy hi, tennis my favourite sport , but can’t see point of risking 250 for such small returns , do u ever make anything worthwhile , ? On your horse bets do u Dutch 2 horses on every race u post here? Can u post your profit and loss pls , many tks. Jo

  114. Well it’s a much better day today for racing and I think (although for me it’s still early in the season)we will be seeing some good performances by the fast horses with the going being G/F (unless the idiots water too much which always spoils things)
2.05 Nmkt. Cl 2,hdcp.BOONGA ROOGETA =150+ I Think this horse will be overlooked and could do well at a fair price. 10/1
2.35 Nmkt. CL 1,GROUP 3. HEERAAT = 89+. 11/2. Well suited by the conditions. There are higher rated horses in PEARL SECRET =103 BUT I HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT IT HANDLING THE GOING.
    3.50 Nmkt. GROUP 1. 2000 GUINEAS.TORONADO = 167. 2/1
    4.25 Nmkt.CL 2. SECRETINTHEPARK = 151. 7/1

  121. .. a few more selections for early tomorrow morning, please note ALL selections are in, no further selections will be posted.

    Morphettville

    Saturday 04/05/13.

    Race 7 South Australian Derby:

    1 Gold Medals
    2 Hvasstan
    3 McNulty
    4 Gerontius / Shoreham
    5 Hioctane

Form all over the place here & inconclusive. Gold Medals poor ride last time after a good win start before & he could be the horse still on the improve here. Longshot chance in a wide open event.

    Gold Coast

    Saturday 04/05/13.

    Race 7 Prime Minister’s Cup:

    1 Hot Snitzel
    2 Famous Seamus
    3 Mahisara
    4 River Lad
    5 Morning Captain

Hot Snitzel a huge speed performance to win last start. Looked like a career defining performance and he is certainly capable of repeating that effort again. Dangers come from Famous Seamus & Mahisara.

    Race 8 Hollindale Stakes:

    1 Lights Of Heaven
    2 Solzhenitsyn
    3 Danleigh
    4 Foreteller
    5 Voila Ici

Lights Of Heaven has exceptional peak speed performance and has returned to winning form again. Solzhenitsyn will appreciate returning home and is the big danger.

    Race 9 Gold Coast Guineas:

    1 Al Aneed
    2 Sizzling
    3 Rocky King
    4 Academus
    5 Luke’s Luck

This could be the race for Al Aneed. Tons of ability, but a headstrong colt, who I believe may be best suited in fast run races over a short course (1200m – 1400m). Good enough to win this.

Good luck and remember to dutch the top 2, that’s what I do – 2 points profit last weekend – better than a poke in the eye I guess ;o(

  122. Hawkesbury

    Saturday 04/05/13 (DON’T FORGET – EARLY HOURS)

    Race 1:

    1 Petrify
    2 Gold Bender
    3 Chiaroscuro
    4 Nissile
5 Full Blast / Double Halo

A race full of low speed values. Best chances come from Petrify, Gold Bend, Chiaroscuro & Nissile.

    Race 2:

    1 Paximadia
    2 Quelle Beaute
    3 Zoustar
    4 Divine Calling
    5 Chosen Idol

Paximadia surprised his stable with impressive debut win. He appeals as hardest to beat ahead of Quelle Beaute & Zoustar.

    Race 3:

    1 Namsarai
    2 Dynamic Honour
    3 Saint La Bamba
    4 Zedlion
    5 Al’s Gold

Namsarai shares best recent speed & has hit peak for, Dangers come from Dynamic Honour & Saint La Bamba (equal best recent speed).

    Race 4:

    1 Saint Desir
    2 French Gift
    3 Above All
    4 Tunes
    5 Coup Acclaim

Saint Desir in an import with lots of upside. Very good first Australian campaign in far harder races than this & not much luck resuming. French Gift has best recent speed & is in career best speedform.

    Race 5 Darley Crown:

    1 Dystopia
    2 Potions
    3 Miss Stellabelle
    4 Aerobatics
    5 Quidnunc

Very tricky race. Dystopia best recent speed coming off a pair of fourth placings. Potions has best recent speed from first-up performance – but reserves her best usually for wet tracks. Strong chance to Miss Stellabelle.

    Race 6 Hawkesbury Rowley Mile:

    1 Speediness
    2 Keith’s Legacy
    3 Merlin Mustang
    4 Mouro / Monton
    5 Class Is Class

Speediness has strong career speed & won well last time overcoming a tempo which had made his task difficult (and resultant speedfigures poor). Looks well placed. Keith’s Legacy has best recent speed & is in career best speedform. Big danger. Good chances to Merlin Mustang, Mouro & Monton.

    Race 7 Hawkesbury Guineas:

    1 Complicate
    2 Brave Soul
    3 Platinum Kingdom
    4 Ashokan / Boban
    5 Herat Testa

Complicate has best recent speed & peaks here for this after brave run for 2nd in Gosford Guineas behind Ichihara coming off a 42 day break. Defeated Ashokan in Canberra Guineas the start prior. Danger could come from Brave Soul.

    Race 8:

    1 Oakfield Commands
    2 Agister
    3 McClintock
    4 Deceiver / Irish Jig
    5 Territory

Oakfield Commands down in weight & drawn to be very competitive. Agister with best recent speed from last start 3rd in good speed event can be a danger over this (extra) trip he seldom gets out to. Good chances to McClintock, Deceiver, Irish Jig & Territory.

  123. G’day cobbers..

Selected races for Morphettville & Gold Coast will be emailed on or before Friday (tomorrow) afternoon.

    Flemington

    Saturday 04/05/13 (EARLY HOURS – DON’T FORGET!)

    Race 1:

Best speed: Moparee; Dalton; Bold Eavey.

Best recent speed: Moparee; Dalton; Bold Eavey.

    1 Moparee
    2 Dalton
    3 Bold Eavey
    4 Tumult
    5 The Messina Nymph

Moparee heads speed categories here after nice effort in holding on for 3rd in strong speed event won by Tiarazou last start. Should prove hard to catch here. Dalton looks to be the danger – unless something special emerges from the ranks of the unraced runners to topple both.

    Race: 2:

Best speed: New York; Eraset; Murdoch’s Joy; Gail.

Best recent speed: Gail; Gottino; Secessio; Chile Express; Sweet Ella; Felidea; Clanga’s Glory; Notice Received.

    1 Gottino
    2 Gail
    3 Secessio
4 Felidea / Chile Express (hard to split)
5 Sweet Ella / Eraset (hard to split)

Gottino with 2nd best recent speed (coming off a last-start win) appeals as a longshot winning chance in this. Comes to town with unfashionable trainer (80 years plus – with a one-horse stable) & apprentice jockey and likely to be well over the odds considering his form. Showed he was up to this level in 2012 when competitive with Mr O’Ceirin & Noble Park. Gail loves Flemington (her best recent speed is from 2nd to Niconoise here 3 starts back) & she can threaten. Chances to Secessio (from the Chris Waller stable), Felidea, Chile Express, Sweet Ella & Eraset.

    Race 3:

Best speed: Strawberry Boy; Livigno; Parthian.

    Best recent speed: Offenders; Parthian.

    1 Strawberry Boy
    2 Parthian
    3 Offenders
    4 Livigno
    5 Good Value

Strawberry Boy has best career speed & now in the Peter Moody stable. Undefeated first-up and this is not overly strong. Small field likely to suit Parthian whois well drawn & weighted & a specialist at the trip. Good chances to Offenders & Livigno.

    Race 4:

Best speed: Zabeelionaire; Verdant; Precedence; Whisper Downs.

Best recent speed: Lidari; Verdant; Auld Burns; Whisper Downs; Fabriano; Cuban Sunday.

    1 Lidari
    2 Verdant
    3 Precedence
    4 Auld Burns
    5 Zabeelionaire / Whisper Downs

Lidari has best recent speed & was responsible for a very promising Australian debut when 2nd to Bonaria. Has quality & plenty of upside and you would believe that first-up run has brought him on. Verdant will be much better suited by the extra ground this time. Chances to Precedence, Auld Burns, Zabeelionaire, & Whisper Downs.

    Race 5:

Best speed: Garud; Sky Raider; Unchain My Heart; Akzar.

Best recent speed: Pretty Adamant & Compound; Vittoria; Thubiaan; Unchain My Heart; Garud; Cottonwood Sky.

    1 Garud
    2 Compound
    3 Pretty Adamant
    4 Unchain My Heart
    5 Sky Raider / Thubiaan

Garud has best career speed & got back & raced flat last start when very disappointing. Okay previous 2 runs this campaign & can get back to best here. Many chance including Compound, pretty Adamant, Unchain My Heart, Sky Raider & Thubiaan.

    Race 6:

Best speed: Jimando; Hazard; Fuddle Dee Duddle.

Best recent speed: Hazard; Sumakaray; Clinton Affair; Arousing Suspicion; Royal Island & Such Hope; Hirad; Liberty Rock.

    1 Hazard **
    2 Jimando
    3 Sumakaray
    4 Fuddle Dee Duddle
    5 Arousing Suspicion

Hazard has best recent speed & was super impressive defeating very talented filly when resuming. Only 2 times in her career that she has failed has been 2nd up (as she will be here). However, a closer examination will show that on both occasion there were legitimate excuses for the failures. Tons of ability & the one to beat. Jimando is a quality colt who will be a danger. Good chances to Sumakaray, Fuddle Dee Duddle & Arousing Suspicion.

    Race 7:

Best speed: Prettyhappyaboutit; Forever Crazy; Mareeza; Formidable.

Best recent speed: Prettyhappyaboutit; Mareeza; Formidable; Walk With Attitude; Reckless Assassin; Vicario.

    1 Prettyhappyaboutit
    2 Mareeza
    3 Walk With Attitude
4 Forever Crazy / La Tikka Rosa
    5 Formidable / Vicario

Prettyhappyaboutit heads the speed categories & was defeated by a very talented filly last start. Handled straight track well last time & appears well placed here. Good chances to Mareeza, Walk With Attitude, Forever Crazy & La Tikka Rosa.

    Race 8:

Best speed: Floatmyboat; Epic Choice; Bradman; Backstedt.

Best recent speed: Floatmyboat; Epic Choice; Bradman; Backstedt & Prince Of Penzance; Settlers Way; Jumeirah Palace; Remorse.

    1 Epic Choice **
    2 Floatmyboat
    3 Bradman
    4 Prince Of Penzance
    5 Backstedt

Epic Choice comes into this with 2 wins from past 3 starts & 2nd best recent speed. Regally bred (by Dylan Thomas from a 1/2 sister to Redoute’s Choice & Manhattan Rain) he showed early promise but needed to be gelded. Seems to be progressing well now & distance should suit. Floatmyboat going very well but having no luck at all. Big danger. Good chances to Bradman & Prince Of Penzance.

  124. Can I just say that if this thread is going to be be a means for people to ‘hi-jack’ and plug other punters / sites or whatever I can quite easily pull this facility.. it’s up to you?, by the way I’m going through some midweek cards as we speak.. or type I should say

  125. .. and if you’re all wondering why I follow Aussie racing, I’ve found that better weather USUALLY means more consistency, I said USUALLY 🙂 and I dutch the two selections, I don’t do every track as there are so many out there, don’t have time

  126. jeez, cheers cobbers..

usually it’s Randwick, Caulfield & Morphettville, it’s every weekend & sometimes midweek, I post every Thursday for weekend (Saturday) racing, usually in the mornings and if I see any value midweek, (usually for Thursday racing) I post Tuesday, if nothing for the Thursday then I’ll let you know Tues am as early as poss.. Appreciate your interest, hope it goes well

  127. Have been following Jason @ Betinfo24,made a small profit over the months, would prefer just one bet as a Banker

  128. Just another thing, I’m doing a bit of research at the moment, I’ll ask this across the boards on this blog..

Do any of you guys on here use an odds comparison site like OddsCheckers or BestBetting or whoever?, if so what do you like or dislike about using whoever you use, is there anything they do or don’t do that you find useful or annoying?

    Thanks in advance 🙂

  129. Hey Keith,

Chances are it’ll be for Thursday mornings racing, I’ll try & post ratings as early as poss, hopefully I’ll get round to doing them sometime Tuesday 🙂

  130. Hi Andy!

    Silk Pins 155 (82)

    1 Catkins
    2 Ciao
    3 Driefontein
    4 Meidung
    5 Diamond Earth

Catkins heads speed categories & is going well with 2 wins from 3 starts this campaign. Gets to 1400m for first time but was very impressive at 1300m (first test beyond 1200m) last time in.

  142. Saturday 27/04/13

    Randwick

    Race 3 Emancipation Stakes:

    Bugaboo 123
    Cannery Row 100 (94)
    Cathay Lady 169 (89)
    Floria 191
    Plucky Belle 150 (94,150)
    Raspberries 203 (203,138)
    Say No More 208w (208w)
    Scorpio Queen 101
    Shamardani 142 (88w)
    Shannara 214
    Skyerush 209 (112,159)
    Xanadu 225 (203)

    1 Xanadu
    2 Say No More
    3 Skyerush
    4 Raspberries / Floria
    5 Plucky Belle / Shamardani

Interesting race with several NZ mares of considerable ability engaged, including the impressive Xanadu, competing against the always competitive Skyerush. Lots of depth. Good race.

  143. Race 4 Queen Elizabeth Stakes:

    Glass Harmonium 259 (149,211)
    Happy Trails 273
    It’s A Dundeel 217 (217,209,161,151)
    Lamasery 209
    Manighar 283 (228w)
    Reliable Man 255 (226w)
    Secret Admirer 297 (240w)
    Silent Achiever 225 (155,133w)
    Zurella 203 (201,203)

    1 It’s A Dundeel
    2 Secret Admirer
    3 Manighar
    4 Reliable Man
    5 Silent Achiever / Zurella

It’s A Dundeel winning as he pleases and not fully tested against the clock. No doubting that his credentials look even more impressive after win of Sacred Falls in Doncaster. Secret Admirer on a firmer track may be some sort of threat.

  144. Saturday 27/04/13

    Randwick

    Race 5 Champagne Stakes:

    Riocetto 144w (81,144w)
    Criterion 203w (81,91,112,203w)
    Fast’n’Rocking 208 (154,111,208w)
    Fuerza 102 (81,83,100w)
    Charlie Boy 100 (88w,87)
    Champollion 148w (81w,148w)
    Havana 89 (89)
    Equator 91 (91)
    Drago 113 (113)
    Star Wars 82
    Guelph 232w (129,232w,186)
    Scandiva 166 (103,120,101,166)
    Diva Dee 131 (117,80)
    Shahad 119 (119)

    1 Guelph
    2 Fast’n’Rocking
    3 Criterion
    4 Scandiva
    5 Drago

Guelph heads speed categories. Has always looked as though she was a miler & her decisive win over 1400m last start adds further weight to the proposition. The one to beat.

  145. Saturday 27/04/13

    Randwick

    Race 6 Sydney Cup:

    Mourayan 249 (81)
    Niwot 237
    Julienas 224 (112,224)
    Kelinni 245 (116w,122w)
    Maluckyday 211 (109)
    Blood Brotha 118 (118)
    Norsqui 265 (116,121)
    Tremec 119 (103,111,119)
    Aliyana Tilde 132 (109,132,93)
    Coliseo 186 (186)
    Macedonian 202 (131)

    1 Kelinni
    2 Julienas
    3 Maluckyday
    4 Norsqui / Mourayan
    5 Coliseo / Tremec

Kelinni a strong winner last start. Juilenas best recent speed. Maluckyday gets into a suitable race. Norsqui & Mourayan very competitive at this distance.

  146. Saturday 27/04/13

    Randwick

    Race 7 All Aged Stakes:

    Rangirangdoo 244
    Fiorente 211w
    Rain Affair 301w (185,226)
    Rolling Pin 242
    Smokin’ Joey 257w (121,257w)
    More Joyous 291 (219,238w)
    All Too Hard 389 (214,219)
    Epaulette 271 (271)

    1 Epaulette
    2 All Too Hard
    3 More Joyous
    4 Rain Affair
    5 Smokin’ Joey

Epaulette returned to racing and put a stamp on what to expect as his mature speedfigures with a brilliant performance when 2nd to Black Caviar in the TJ Smith. Is just as good 2nd up and he appeals as the one to beat. All Too Hard has best career speed, but also a couple of setbacks after 2 wins this prep. Danger. More Joyous very unlucky last start and as always tough to hold out. Rain Affair is going well & will give them all something to catch.

  147. Saturday 27/04/13

    Randwick

    Race 8 Hall Mark Stakes:

    Balavan 208w
    Bold Glance 228

    Firebolt 229
    Hot Snitzel 297w (297w) Scratched

    Master Harry 155
    Pampelonne 258
    Rarefied 243w (243w)
    Renewed Vitality 219
    See The World 249 (127,249w) **
    Single Style 150w
    Skytrain 235w (116,176w)
    Soft Sand 171
    Somepin Anypin 261
    Stratana 166
    Title 210
    Your Song 182

    1 See The World **
    2 Rarefied
    3 Skytrain
    4 Decision Time / Pampelonne
    5 Manawanui / Fat Al

See The World has best recent speed for this. Will be giving them a big start but does storm home with the right run. Hard to hold out. Rarefied a great run first-up and is a danger. Good chances to Skytrain, Decision Time & Pampelonne.

  148. Saturday 27/04/13:

    Morphettville

    Race 5 Sportingbet Classic:

    Yosei 298 @ 1600m
    Kulgrinda 261 (81)
    Platelet 189
    Avoid Lightning 211 (211,206)
    Koonoomoo 219 (123,106)
    Altar 185 (137)
    Just Discreet 214
    Classy Chloe 229
    Light Express 168 (115)
    Snitzerland 257 (257,196) **
    Shamal Wind 185 (109,185,149)
    Angelic Light 188 (146,188,110)

    1 Snitzerland **
    2 Avoid Lightning
    3 Angelic Light
    4 Altar / Platelet
    5 Shamal Wind / Kulgrinda

Snitzerland heads the speed categories & is naturally the one to beat.

Race 7 Queen Of The South stakes:

    Bonaria 213 (120,165,213) **
    Star Of Giselle 227 (128,114)
    Secret Liaison 160 (128,160)
    Storm Burst 218w (178,102,81)
    Lake Sententia 223 (113)
    Crucial 159w
    Family Crest 152 (138,128)
    Silent Attitude 116
    Epingle 130 (82,130)
    Danish Spy NR
    Mybenz 119 (119)

    1 Bonaria **
    2 Lake Sententia
    3 Star Of Giselle
    4 Secret Liaison
    5 Storm Burst

Bonaria best recent speed & new speed peak for her when easy winner last start. Lake Sententia somehow did not get photo result last time and is the big danger.

  149. Randwick 27/04/13

Race 7 Queen Of The South Stakes:

    1 Bonaria **
    2 Lake Sententia
    3 Star Of Giselle
    4 Secret Liaison
    5 Storm Burst

Bonaria best recent speed & new speed peak for her when easy winner last start. Lake Sententia somehow did not get photo result last time and is the big danger.

  150. That’s Caulfield done, now on to Randwick, don’t forget this is for races EARLY Sat am, I had issues posting the rundown for Race 4 for some reason, apologies for the messy appearence.

  151. Race 4:

Best speed: Flamberge; Lankan Rupee; Planet Voyage.

Best recent speed: Flamberge; Vital; Lankan Rupee

    1 Flamberge **
    2 Lankan Rupee

  152. Race 8:

Best speed: Gybe; Vain Attraction; Embark.

Best recent speed: Our Emily Mia; You Can Dance; Honey Flower; Spartini; Vibrant Rouge; Vain Attraction; Embark; Dashing Shadow.

    1 Our Emily Mia
    2 Honey Flower
    3 You Can Dance
    4 Tariana
    5 Gybe / Vain Attraction

Our Emily Mis has best recent speed & has improved rapidly this campaign. Terrible draw but good gate speed & (with no weight) she will be getting up on the speed & will take catching. Honey Flower has a touch of class & no luck last time. Danger. Good chances to You Can Dance & Tariana.

  153. Race 7:

Best speed: Counter Sign; Halle Rocks; Eight Bills.

Best recent speed: Delegance; Umgeton; Queen Delight; Day Procedure; Counter Sign; Rifleman

    1 Delegance **
    2 Halle Rocks
    3 Counter Sign
    4 Royal Bender Day Procedure
    5 Eight Bills / Umgeton

Delegance has best recent speed & draws to stalk what should be a hectic pace. Lots of early speed in this & I would prefer her to take a smother just behind leaders. Halle Rocks is a class mare with lots of ability. Counter Sign has best career speed & ran his career best speed figures track & trip. Royal Bender, Day Procedure, Eight Bills & Umgeton, all chances.

  154. Race 6 Thomas Sabo Plate:

Best speed: New York; Manhattan Maid; Dane The Rave.

Best recent speed: Loot’n’Run; The New Boy; Little Bro; Absalon; Aashiq; Euphorbia; Tigerland; New York.

    1 Loot’n’Run
    2 New York
    3 The New Boy
    4 Little Bro / Tigerland
    5 Euphorbia / Solsay

Loot’n’Run has best recent speed & is in career best speedform. However, all of his speed performances to date have come from wet tracks. He is a superior mud-runner, but many of his opportunities on good/dead tracks were in unsuitable races. Going so well that he may still just run them ragged again (entered for Warrnambool next week & they may reserve for that if rain is forecast). New York gets a draw where he can tuck in behind speed. Has been disappointing, but may get this race run to suit. Good chances to The New Boy & Little Bro.

  155. Race 5:

Best speed: Motivado; Laspiel; Rugged Cross; Oriental Ruby.

Best recent speed: Oriental Ruby; Clanga’s Glory; Laspiel; Rugged Cross; Harry Trimbole.

    1 Oriental Ruby
    2 Rugged Cross
    3 Motivado
    4 Clanga’s Glory
    5 The Big Steel

Oriental Ruby has best recent speed. Brought undone last time by lack of tempo – and a bit of a worry same might happen again here. At her best in races of 1600-1800m run off a good tempo. If she settles – regardless of pace – she will be hard to hold out with her turn of foot. Rugged Cross is an import who won impressively on debut. Big danger. Motivado has a big speed figure from easy win in 2011. Apparently a big horse who often finds trouble, he would not need to be a champion to win here.

  156. Race 3 Catanach’s Jewellers Stakes:

Best speed: Churchill Dancer; Tonyboy; Register.

Best recent speed: Churchill Dancer; Tonyboy; Zellindi; Carillo; The Huntress; Sid The Sloth.

    1 Churchill Dancer
    2 Tonyboy
    3 The Huntress / Carillo
    4 Sid The Sloth
    5 Register

Churchill Dancer going very well & heads speed categories in very open 2yo event.

  157. Saturday 27/03/13

    Caulfield

    Race: 1:

Best speed: Spelldancer; Freezy; Twin Soul & Blue Ribbon.

Best recent speed: Freezy; Twin Soul; Friday Hussy; Hidden Message; Averau; Spelldancer; Blue Ribbon; Rock Lobster; Tricky Maid.

    1 Freezy
    2 Twin Soul
    3 Averau
4 Hidden Message / Friday Hussy
    5 Rock Lobster

Looking to the imported staying mares, Freezy & Twin Soul, to fight this out. They head recent speed & would believe they can only improve with racing. The improving 3yo filly Averau appeals as a good chance.

    Race 2

    Best speed: Coins; Sumakaray; Ephemera.

Best recent speed: Coins; Sumakaray; Mybenz; Nautical; Catered; Tyanna; Explosive Cross & Misscatelli; Ephemera & Big Chill; Sherbet Bomb.

    1 Coins **
    2 Mybenz
    3 Explosive Cross
    4 Nautical / Benenden
    5 Catered

Very interesting 3yo fillies event. Coins heads the speed categories & was a very impressive winner last start. Appears well placed again. A substantial group of impressive/improving fillies besides her with Mybenz (unlucky last start behind Coins), Explosive Cross (impressive debut winner), Nautical, Benenden & Catered, all appealing as good chances.

  158. Hi guys..

    Here’s the deal,

What I have been doing recently is doing some work on Australian Racing, I’ve found that implementing ratings on Australian tracks have been proving to be profitable, for starters shortly I will be advising two racecards that feature the best value for this weekend.

I will also endeavor to advise of a meeting midweek.

This service will run a trial period for 1 month as from this weekend, as from June this will be a chargeable service, via PayPal through the BetInfo24 website at £29 per month, this is another angle we can explore in the world of racing.

I will also post what I am wagering on in the UK & Ireland usually every day.

    Thanks for reading.
