Leicester kick-off the new season by facing Manchester United at Wembley Stadium, with both sides looking to kick off their new seasons with a win.

For Ranieri and Leicester it will be business as usual and for Manchester United, they will be looking to finally find a successful formula as they continue to struggle with life after Sir Alex Ferguson.

The Premier League Champions come into this fixture on the back of a 4-2 loss against Barcelona in the International Champions Cup draw away in the Friends Arena, a match that saw Ahmed Musa make an excellent impression but overall Barcelona were too strong for Ranieri's men.

Leicester's form in pre-season has been poor, they have yet to register a win in 90 minutes, although they did beat Celtic on penalties and they have had to face exceptionally strong opposition in Barcelona and PSG.

Ranieri has lost the services of Kante to his compatriot Antonio Conte at Chelsea, but they have managed to secure Jamie Vardy on an extended contract and Riyad Mahrez looks like he will be staying put as well.

He will have a huge job on his hands to challenge for the Premier League again, with all of the top sides resurgent and with three new, high-profile managerial changes for major rivals.

Claudio Ranieri and the board have recruited well, with the signings of Luis Hernandez from Sporting Gijon, Nampalys Mendy from Nice, Ron-Robert Zieler from Hannover 96 and Ahmed Musa from CSKA Moscow.

They will be looking to continue their excellent recent form against Manchester United, with only one defeat in their last four matches but their record overall needs improving with 40 defeats in 84 matches.

Leicester are the underdogs at 3/1 with Jamie Vardy at 6/1 the favourite to score first for Leicester.

Manchester United come into this match on the back of an excellent result in their previous match with a thumping 5-2 win against Galatasaray.

This has been an excellent pre-season for United, they have won 2/3 matches this season and they have played some excellent football at times.

The defeat against Dortmund was brushed aside by Mourinho who insisted that it was due to different stages in pre-season preparation rather than a gulf in class.

This season represents the chance for two fallen giants to restore their credentials and rise up to the top of English football once again, with Mourinho and Manchester United both looking to make a huge statement and prove they are a match made in heaven.

They have been very active again in the transfer market with three signings made already and the world record signing of Pogba seemingly a formality in the coming days.

The signings of Eric Bailly, Henrik Mkhitaryan, and the free signing of Zlatan Ibrahimovic have been a huge statement of intent from United and the signing of Paul Pogba will be the icing on the cake for the club, as they bid to win a first Premier League title for four years.

They will be looking for their 41st win in 85 games against Leicester and are looking to kick off the Mourinho era with a win.

United are the favourites at 17/20 with Zlatan Ibrahimovic the favourite to score first for United at 7/2.

Today's selections:

2-2 draw @ 14/1 with Zlatan Ibrahimovic to score first @ 7/2.
