Southampton v Liverpool
The final match of the Capital One Cup quarter finals is played tonight and it should be a decent game. Southampton's form has been up and down so far this season and they currently sit in tenth place in the Premier League. The game ended in a one all draw when the two sides met at Anfield in October and I think it will be a tight game again.
I think both teams will put out strong sides with few players being rested. Liverpool have a couple of top players just back from long term injury in Jordan Henderson and Daniel Sturridge, together with Philippe Coutinho who missed the game at the weekend with a hamstring pull. It will be interesting to see which of those players Jurgen Klopp decides to start, as Liverpool have played a lot of football recently.
The way they have been setting themselves up in away matches against good opposition has been really impressive, they beat Chelsea and Man City 3-1 and 4-1 respectively, and I think they may just shade the game tonight. We can get a best price of 15/8 on them winning the match in normal time, and there is some value in that.
Due to having this tricky quarter final fixture, Liverpool's odds of winning the competition are a little inflated I feel at 6/1, and this is worth a bet as they have shown they are more than capable of beating City who are the hot favourites to lift the trophy.

Romain De Senam has to give at least a stone to all of his rivals here today but he has promising claimer Harry Cobden on board taking half of that weight off. He won his maiden hurdle at Wincanton as easily as he liked before finishing third of five in the Triumph Hurdle trial at Cheltenham last month. He was far too keen that day and it is hoped he will settle far better today. If he does he is impossible to oppose and should take a comfortable win. Jaleo is an expensive recruit to the John Ferguson yard and is by New Approach. He will need to hit the ground running and be something special if he is to get close to Romain de Senam however.
