Arsenal face Brighton at the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon, in the first of three Sunday fixtures.

The Gunners come into this match on the back of a 4-2 win away against BATE Borisov in the Europa League.

Olivier Giroud made it 4-1 from the penalty spot (49), with Stanislav Dragun pulling the shirt of Shkodran Mustafi inside the box.

Mikhail Gordeychuk grabbed another consolation for the hosts (67), completing an emphatic 4-2 scoreline on the night.

Success Needed

Arsenal have had a tough start to the season, but they have found an unbeaten stretch of form.

They have won five and drawn one of their last six matches, the draw an impressive one against Chelsea.

The Gunners find themselves on 10 points in 7th place, considering their dismal start its an excellent return.

Arsenal face a Brighton side who have had a solid start to life in the Premier League under Chris Hughton.

They find themselves still well placed in 13th position, with a total of seven points from their opening six matches.

A win against the Gunners would be the greatest in their history, it would be an incredible achievement.

Seagulls Underdogs

Chris Hughton's side come into this match as the underdogs, with the Gunners home advantage informing the odds.

Brighton will be looking to put in an excellent performance in this match, with a vital three points at stake.

They will be looking for just their third win against Arsenal.
