Foxes Need Start

Leicester had a mixed campaign last season, with the defending Champions failing to find any fluidity in the league.

They have been very unlucky with their early fixtures, having to face Arsenal, Manchester United & Chelsea in the first four matches.

The Foxes have won just the one match against Brighton, and with the draw against Huddersfield, they have four points.

Shakespeare's side find themselves in 15th place, they will be looking to secure a much-needed win.

Leicester Underdogs

Craig Shakespeare's side come into this match as the underdogs, with Liverpool's pedigree informing the bookies.

This will be a tough match for Leicester, with Liverpool bound to break their scoring duck soon.

Leicester will be looking to make it three successive wins against Liverpool.

Big Challenge

Liverpool come into this match in poor form, after losing 2-0 to Leicester in the midweek Carabao Cup match.

The Reds dominated the first half, with Coutinho pulling the strings but failed to capitalise on their early dominance with a goal.

Jurgen Klopp's side had 21 shots overall but only converted three of those on target, along with their defensive frailties, they are being punished.

It means Liverpool, who made the semi-finals last year and final in 2016, have now failed to win any of their last four matches.

The loss also puts Klopp under huge pressure, with many of the Anfield faithful desperate for a trophy.

Wins Needed

It has been a tough run for the Reds and Jurgen Klopp, they are winless since their 4-0 win against Arsenal.

They have drawn two and lost two of their last four games, with the draws against Burnley and Sevilla.

Liverpool have been very wasteful in front of goal, in the last three matches they have had 80 shots overall, with only 19 of them on target.

Their defensive problems haven't been resolved, that has been a Liverpool weakness since before Klopp's tenure began.

Reds Favourites

Liverpool come into this match as favourites, despite their poor recent form and results.

Jurgen Klopp's men will be looking to win this fixture, putting an end to their recent winless streak.

The Reds will be looking for a 35th win in 88 matches against Leicester.

Liverpool are 17/20 with Daniel Sturridge and Roberto Firmino at 9/2 to open the scoring.
