Leicester host Manchester City at the King Power Stadium on Saturday afternoon, in the first round of fixtures after the international break.

The Foxes come into this match on the back of a 2-2 draw against Stoke, a tough result for the Foxes.

Leicester unveiled Claude Puel as their new manager, with the Frenchman replacing Craig Shakespeare.

He has enjoyed an excellent honeymoon period, taking four points from his opening six.

The Foxes also won their midweek match against Leeds in the Carabao Cup 3-1, a win here will be another excellent result.

In Puel they have secured themselves a solid and unlucky manager, but they face a rampant Manchester City side.

Manchester City come into this match on the back of another excellent result prior to the international break.

They recorded a 3-1 win against the Gunners, another impressive win for the unbeaten Sky Blues.

Kevin De Bruyne (19) opened the scoring for the Sky Blues, with the Belgian continuing his excellent form this season.

Sergio Aguero made it 2-0 from the penalty spot (50), with Raheem Sterling blatantly fouled in the box, a decision that riled Arsene Wenger.

Alexandre Lacazette pulled one back for the Gunners, with the Frenchman making it 2-1 with a low drive (65).

Gabriel de Jesus completed a fine afternoons work for City (74), with the Brazillian making it 3-1 to Pep Guardiola's side.

Unbeaten Run

It has been an excellent run for Manchester City, they have beaten nearly every side in their path.

They have yet to face the likes of Manchester United and Tottenham but they have beaten Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea.

Guardiola's side have had an impressive Champions League campaign as well, it seems Guardiola can do no wrong.

City are top of the Premier League, they have a commanding lead of eight points over nearest rivals United and Spurs.

 

City Favourites

Manchester City come into this match as favourites, with their outstanding form informing the bookies.

Pep Guardiola will be looking to win this fixture, further extending his sides unbeaten run.

City will be looking for their 33rd win in 76 matches against Leicester.
