Manchester City face Liverpool at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday lunchtime, a perfect match after the international break.

Pep Guardiola's side come into this match on the back of a 2-1 win against Bournemouth, continuing their excellent start to their season.

The hosts took a shock lead in the 13th minute through Charlie Daniels, a thunderbolt opener for the Cherries.

Sadio Mane made it 2-0 just before the break (40), curling a brilliant low shot past Cech to double their advantage.

Mohammed Salah continued his fine start for Liverpool (57), scoring past Cech after dispossessing Bellerin on the halfway line.

Daniel Sturridge completed the scoring for the Reds, with the fourth goal coming with thirteen minutes to go (77).

 

Huge Result

That was an incredible result for Jurgen Klopp and Liverpool, although they will have been disappointed at the timing of the international break.

Alex Oxlade Chamberlain joined from Arsenal on deadline day, they have also managed to keep Phillippe Coutinho.

They have been in good form and are unbeaten in the Premier League, this will be a huge challenge though.

Liverpool do find themselves second in the Premier League, with their 4-0 win giving them an excellent goal difference.
