Man City are 1/6 with Gabriel Jesus at 9/4 to score first.

Manchester City face Stoke at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday afternoon, in the eighth round of Premier League matches.

Pep Guardiola's side come into this match on the back of a 1-0 win against Chelsea, continuing their excellent start to their season.

Former Blues player Kevin De Bruyne scored the only goal of the game (67), with an outstanding strike enough to beat compatriot Thibaut Courtois.

Guardiola's side were outstanding at the Bridge, enjoying a remarkable 62% of the ball, unheard of at the Bridge.

They dominated total shots (17) and converted more of them on target (6), dwarfing the hosts performance entirely.

This was a tough performance and result for Chelsea, they produced very little in terms of clear-cut chances.

Unbeaten Start

Manchester City have had an unbeaten start to this season, in Stoke they face a side who are in the bottom half of the table.

They are joint top of the Premier League, with an identical record to neighbours Manchester United.

City have been in imperious form this season, their only blemish has been the draw with Everton but overall they have been outstanding.

They will remain top of the Premier League with a win over Stoke, with United facing a tough challenge in the form of Liverpool.

Mixed Start

The Potters come into this match in mixed form, despite securing a much-needed win against Southampton prior to the international break.

Mame Biram Diouf opened the scoring for Stoke on the stroke of half-time (40), with the forward heading his side in front.

Saido Berahino saw his penalty saved by Fraser Forster just three minutes later, after Van Dijk brought him down in the area.

Peter Crouch snatched a late winner for Stoke (85), with the former England international scoring a vital goal with just five minutes remaining to make it 2-1.

Huge Result

That was a good result for Mark Hughes and Stoke, the Potters have been lacking in consistency this season.
