UEFA Champions League: Feyenoord vs Manchester City

Feyenoord face Man City at the De Kuip Stadium on Wednesday evening, in the first round of Champions League group stage matches this season.

The Dutch champions come into this match on the back of a 4-2 win against Heracles Almelo, an excellent result.

Substitute Leroy Sane scored a late double to add insult to injury for Liverpool (77, 90+1), the second strike an excellent finish to make it 5-0.

Guardiola's men have made a huge statement with that victory, inflicting Jurgen Klopp's heaviest ever defeat as Liverpool manager.

The pressure is on Guardiola to produce a trophy this season, the primary target must be to win the Premier League.

City will also be looking to make inroads in the Champions League, they were knocked out by free scoring Monaco last season.

Manchester City come into this match as the favourites, with the Sky Blues pedigree informing the bookies.

Guardiola's side will be looking to win this opening fixture and top the group, with City one of the favourites to win the CL.
