If you are relying on some one elses tips suggest you papertrade first, just to make sure what they promise acxtually
happens.
Many times people have believed a tipster and paid for tips only to find they are suddenly on a loosing streak
and the bank has gone!
Get to know them first and do a trial run (without putting money down, however much you are tempted)
for at least a week.
Or if theyare on blog look at there past tips and success rate.
if you just followed steve’s L15 you wouldn;t be doing too badly as he does pretty well.
You would be better off with normal bookie though. i think betfred will double odds if only 1 horse wins.
just stick with advise from the main guys, jason, Keith, Steve etc and they won’t let you get ripped off.

Evening dogs tend to be better BUT a lot can happen in dog racing mate
Bumping etc and certain dogs run well at certain tracks , distances traps

I noticed there are loads of eve meetings so may just concentrate on Newcastle, Poole and Sheffield as I have heard of those
and others Kinsley, Mildenhall and Harolds cross seem a bit obscure?
but if any of these lesser meetings are actually to dog racing as Pedigree chum is to dog food i would
be grateful if you could let me know.

Are the quality of races all the same for morning, afternoon and evening dogs?
or are the evening dogs the most reliable as everybody has best dogs and trying best for evening races?
just wondered if there was a difference in quality and being able to rely on form/stats etc?

i have been having fun looking at different scenarios for tonights 3 meetings
if all done as singles, would have been done about 1 1/2points
doubles @25p e/w where up about a quid?
I did look at dutching some selections that qualified and would have made about 3 1/2 points
i also noticed something when qualifying selections and ran it through all tonights meetings and nearly wet my self!
Nott 5 f/c = 10 bets rtn + 6 1/2 points
yarm 4 f/c = 8 bets rtn = 30 points
romf 1 f/c =2 bets rtn -2points
not sure if this is just a one off???????????
it just may be a flook like noticing a trend and makibng a system and getting a 33/1 winner in first few days and then
the crap hits the fan and it’s downhill all the way?
but looks promising and only need racing post online (free version) so may just do f/c’s tomoz and see how goes.
INTERESTING that our selections for the pm were same and e/w treble would have made a profit!
Anyway if you are interested I will put up f/c for tomoz night?

I’ve reached the proving stage of my revised placepot system. I’ve started to make the selections and check the outcomes (without placing any real bets) and I will do that for the next month to see if it is as good as I think it is. my tentative system1 was crap, coz rushed it… just looking at past form showed it was hopeless at 5f
and wrong jockey on top…

I think it best if i concentrate more on getting system1 correct and not rushed so proper winning results are obtained and
treat system 2 as a hobby and just do it for the weekend and post them early and just check results
on monday, or just forget about system2 altogether?
anyway it was a good win for nargys and shows there is potential in system 2 with a bank of about 30 points.
A bank of 30 points from the start would mean system still in profit (especially if got all selections right!)

I suppose I could have put my message somewhat better. Firstly I have not really got a gripe, as, as I stated in the message I have not been backing them, but following them on paper, the past 10 days or so, and as such have not lost any money, so nothing to really gripe about. I also said that prior to those ten days they have probably been doing well.
I also said that I am virtually a novice when it comes to greyhounds and the only thing I know or have been told about them, from people that know about them or to be more exact supposedly know about them is not to continually back short priced ones or obvious ones. I am not saying that this is a correct theory, but it’s what I was trying to find out.
The thing is I am looking to have a go at the greyhounds and I always feel the best way to find out about things is to ask questions, that are as direct as possible, in an attempt to find out any reasoning or methods used, and also to try and find out as much as possible in as short a time. However having looked at my message again, I realise I could probably have worded it better, and although it was meant more as a way to gather information and reasoning and not to cause offence, I realise it may have done so, and if so, for that I sincerely apologise.

I really do apologise for todays losses (I have apologised on the forum) and apologise again for the mistake of the time of blue top (which won 7/1 and who knows what the early price was?).
to all who emailed me.
I seem to be making quite a few mistakes with this system2 since posting selections, which has cost me dear.(not doing 33/1 winner, not betting on selections as they looked useless when only one on day and 1p bet, plus today’s error costing me £72 {ironically would have made a small profit on day!}, which does make the system still viable but the staking needs to be right.
I had hoped to make some money for charity with system to and giving selections early, but seemed to have scuppered that by my errors.
If you are still interested in the system 2 bets can you email me and i will send them to you the day before (for the next week)so if you do notice that a non runner is actually running that day you could perhaps tell me and point it out on the forum?
From now on i will do system 1 bets with a 7 point bank and will just do a nominal bet on system2 until all the wrinles are ironed out and no more errors are made.

MARK. .There has never been a betting system or strategy that wins without having losing days or even losing runs of several days.All that matters is that you end up in profit long term. with that in mind Todays results dont really matter. Looking at your system it would seem that system 1 selects very short priced horses which from my opinion are better laid than backed and I would concentrate on the other system which seems to offer value bets at much better odds Iam enjoying watching your system and thank you for sharing good luck with future selections that £1000 will surely come.

I am so sorry to let every body down with such poor results.
My bank has plummeted from £112 down to £46, and I am not very happy at all.
On the bright side my system 1 maintained it’s record by breaking even today and not making a loss.
System 2 has been a bitter disappointment today after a brilliant week.
I can only apologise unreservedly for such a poor performance today.
My banks are based on such a small margin for error that it is devastated by days like today.
I will have to review the betting strategy.
I will however give system 2 another day, with the proviso that it is successfull, as I have no tolerance of a system that performs
for a system that has big losses frequently.

Just a constructive thought regarding Keiths greyhound selections, not the tricasts as I have not been following them, but the daily Bet24 mails sent to me. I have been surveying them mainly on paper. I have had ten mails sent now with his selections, giving a toal of 31 selections (4 were sent today). Of these 31, thirty have been Racing Post selections (only one has not) and although I cannot remember the exact figures, of these 30 about 19 have been Racing Post naps and 6 RP next bests, and of those that have not been naps and next bests they have been largely very short prices including odds on.
I confess to not being a greyhound expert to say the least, but my understanding is that continually following racing post selections, naps, next bests and short prices in the greyhound world, is one of the quickest ways to the workhouse. Keith did have one night when he had two winners and a NR, but apart from that his results have been poor since the mails were sent to me, although I admit to not checking every one of the ten mail selections sent to me so far.
Furthermore you could pick the selections yourself just by following the Racing Post, particularly their naps and next bests. As said I am totally new to these selections and apologies if the results have been very good prior to me receiving them. Anyone any thoughts, maybe Keith himself, as as I say I am a novice when it comes to Greyhounds.
PS I have posted this without knowing tonights resultsd, so I have no doubt all 4 will now win!

The tricasts have been quite successfull but can be a bit up and down.
To make serious money doing tricast i assume a rather large betting bank is needed..
I prefer a small point bank (ie. 10 or less) that can be inceased quickly by a good strike rate.
Anyway i am grateful for keiths selections and do keep an eye on them.

I have a small bank with Ladbrokes of about £10 (lost some on the dogs ) and am now just going to
50p level bets until bank increases.
My main bank i’m also going to do 20points and see how it increases.
It was a great week last week with about 60points profit- i can hardly believe it myself until i look at
my bank and the cash is there!!

just been looking over results and evaluating sysetms.
looks like system 1 high strike rate but low odds
system2 max good strike rate but odds vary 1/5- 10/1 reasonable strike rate makes daily profit.
system2 1p bets not so high strike rate but better odds average and still seem to make daily profit-
except odd day when only 1 or even 2 bets. have had 33/1 winner!
i think i will risk it all and just go for a 20point bank level stake this week (just noticed the one i left today
WON 7/1…shame didn’t do it).
So all selections given will automatically be bet at 1point of the 20 point bank. My bank is just over
£120 from £30 so all bets tomoz will be £6 whatever system. Another good week and i may be
tempted to use a 15 point bank.

I don’t keep track of strike rate or profit/loss any more. I have been sorting the selections into L15’s the way Steve was doing, and the 1st choice picks would have ended £ 27.73 up for August, but the first few days of this month have taken that, although I haven’t updated yesterday’s results. The 2nd choice picks would have lost a small fortune in August(about £100+), so I’ve stopped updating them.

i don’t normally do bets on saturday/sunday but did do my 2nd system last week end just to see how
it went as there were 8i bets! which produced 5 2point bets of which 2 n/r Won 5/2, lost, Won 4/1,
5 1point bets of which 3 lost, 2nd 5/1 and Won 6/1. i was a nice profitable day.

i have been doing the main syatem for a while (£2 bets) and have a strike rate easily over 50% of usual odds of 10/11-7/4 on average.
the second system is not very old and i use 2p max and 1p for others.
The 2 p has also been over 50% but odds have been anywhere between 1/5 -4/1. except for 1 day when i lost (x2 1p bets and of that 1 was just outside criteara) it has made money every day.
I did just used to bet monday to friday only with system 1 and was making money as i trailed the system (i used my ladbrokes account betting 10p a point!! then went up to use £2 point on betfair but now use bet 365 as they do best odds guaranteed BOG).
I have started a retirement/living allowance fund of £30 to bet using the two systems and as soon as i reach £100 a point will start to take some profit out. Obviously by then i will have to use betfair as they will accept stakes of £100’s without cancelling my account!
In the meantime i thought i would share the tips for a while just to keep me on my toes!

sorry forgot to say that the bets are from a couple of systems i have been shown and best to bet on every one as per stakes advised even though they may look hopeless as the system really does work (as todays 33/1 winner shown even though i thought it had no chance). I am still getting used to the success of it as the 1point bets throw up some unlikely bets!!
(It has even thrown up a 94/10 winner at longchamps when there were loads of good 4/1 shots which one of them looked certain to win, yet my selection won- which really surprised me and certainly got my attention as to how good this is!)

just divede your bank by 30 and bet 1 or two points as i say and God willing you account will soon grow. it doesnt matter if 30 points work out at 10p a bet as at least with online betting you can bet 10p to win and not feel an idiot as i would in a betting shop. My wife used to bet doubles at 1p a double and have 20 selections or more years ago and walk straight up to the counter with no embarresment (i refused to do it as felt a right wally at 1p doubles even at 5p)

As it is friday it looks like a big day for bets, as is saturday.

funnily enough since finding and starting the second system it has only had 1 loosing day (i must have more faith and just do it, even if look like a looser or hot fav has to be beat)
I started with £30 (30 points)in my bank to bet to bet 1p and 2p on the max bets.
The 1st system only really needs a 10point bank but 2nd system better with 15 points for best bets and 30 for 2nd best so overall a 30 point bank is fine.
There is still 1 to go at 8.40…. i am still recovering and being thankfull my prayers have been answered as never had a 33/1 winner i;ve tipped before!!!!!!

Quick update – Yes Im still working on the site and there is some coding that I don’t know how to do so I am getting a developer to do it this week. There are a few things that need fixing such as: The ‘time’ as Keith mentioned. Change the form so that it remembers who you are, so you don’t have to keep entering your details. I will also remove the ‘your comments’ as it seems to be causing a few problems.
I will also add ‘nested comments’ so that you can reply to specific comments rather than just having your comment going to the top of the page!

I tend to bank when I get £50 in the bank so I don’t lose it all on a bad day then reduced stake until it builds up again. The two tricasts paid around £60 for a £1 on each so you lost out on £30 but would have cost you £33 to back all the tricasts so you would have been £3 down but we are up over £200 for the last few days mate

“not so good” being a 10% loss of expenditure of bets is pretty darn good in between winning days! keep up the good work mate!

Tricasts 6 races so far been unlucky with 2 dogs in the first 3 and the other one bloody 4th 3 times oh well that’s dog racing can’t win them all !!!

hi raj, they are keiths picks in race order, best thing to do is copy them down and put the time of race next to each one. Takes Keith too long to put times in as well, but its easy to follow when you get the hang of it
