The Cherries come into this match on the back of a 2-1 defeat at home against Burnley, a tough result for Eddie Howe's side.

Robbie Brady doubled the Clarets lead just past the hour mark (65), with the midfielder going from assister to scorer after great work from Berg Gudmundsson.

It was a tight contest but Guardiola's side continue their incredible run, they have dropped just two points this season.

Mauricio Pellegrino has had a mixed start to life as Southampton manager, they have had an upturn in fortunes in the last few games though.

This will be a tough match for Southampton, with Bournemouth keen to secure a much-needed home win.

Pellegrino's side come into this match as the favourites, despite the Cherries enjoying home advantage.

Southampton will be looking to continue their good recent form and gain some much-needed momentum in this match.
